So... On the note of "keeping an eye on the N-P-K levels"... I know what you are referring to, however, how do I make sure I am not going over the necessary levels (which are???), and how to I measure the N-P-K in regards to volume of soil/ingredients I am mixing?
So there is NO point at all in amending the soil to create better aeration/etc.? The only benefit in amending is the nutrients? Just want to be clear. thank you
I got through a couple issues already and am wondering what the best soil ammendments would be to add the the soil I'll be transplanting to relatively soon. While I have read a lot on the subject and definitely understand the basics of gardening/marijuana growing... I am definitely a noobie to...
Update... My temps and humidity are now keeping perfect with a 15 on / 15 off fan schedule and 18/6 light schedule... Staying between 74-78 during days and 40-50% humidity. 2 of the clones survived and I have 3 very healthy seedlings going as well.
You received Cuttings in soil, and want them to root under a HPS???..........Not bloody likely.
- Jiji
I received them in water and had to switch to the hps as my mh light went out... just want to no if I have a chance while waiting for my MH light
UPDATE! just tried the MH light again and it only "arcs"...??? It will not power up, so I am stuck in emergency mode with my 400W HPS right now. I'm going to contact HTGsupply as that is where I purchased the light and it has warranty. I'll see if they can overnight me another 400W MH. AHHHHH!
So what does everyone think about the odds of these clones surviving??? Will they root?
Like I said they showed up unexpectedly... They are in the dirt and have 24 hour HPS light at the moment. I'm going to try and swap in the MH light this evening, assuming it works. I initially had the...
Well... problems abound... I had the MH light plugged in a warming up the tent, as I got an unexpected delivery from a friend to start up. The tent was warm, I was preparing soil/etc for the unrooted clones and then I decided I needed to unplug the light from the timer so I could keep it 24/7...
Also... in order to maintain negative pressure i would need to have the fan pulling from the light and open intake on the opposite side of the tent... through and have the filter can attached directly to the other end of the inline fan... right? Will this be overworking the fan or am just...
Growan,
Moving the filter around will be a PITA, but i can handle that... will i still have enough air exchange within the tent? And... at that point... what will i be able to do to adjust the temp/air exchange rate? Would i be able to make "inlets" into my ducting INSIDE the tent to draw...
Worldseries,
It is a can carbon filter... can that ne placed outside the tent? I currently have it in the tent and it is the "beginning" or first suction point on the end of my ducting... then it runs through the light/reflector and out of the tent... the 6 inch inline fan sucks the air out...
Also... how am i going to increase RH in the tent with the amount of air flow i have? It is currently 40 percent humidity with NO plants lighting or ventilation
Jiji,
I really like the idea of removing the glass however... then my filter will be useless, correct? As the fan would be taking air in the reflector after the filter... or unfiltered air going straight out of the tent??
