My plants consistently take 9oz per day in a 5 gallon nursery pot (really 4 gallons). I water 18oz every other day. miss one day and they get VERY droopy. More than 18oz at a time and the excess runs out.

I had a bag full of 5 year-old seeds and *none* of them sprouted ( 0.0% ). I'm guessing the health of the seed and the storage make all the difference Good luck!

I see what other people say. Here is my experience: I started seedlings in 9oz paper cups with MG soil. No other nutes , everything grew fine. About two weeks later, roots had filled cup and I transplanted to a larger pot with no nutes so that I could control for the rest of the time. MG soil...

yep. 2 600w lights will cover 24 plants in 5 gallon (soil) containers very well. Figure you have about 1200/50 = 24sq ft, where 50w/sq ft is the desired goal. Some would go as low as 40w/sq ft, and that would give you a few more. A "5 gallon nursery pot" is really about 4 real gallons, and...

This is what I ultimately did. In fact, I transplanted to 1 gallon in two weeks, and then to 5 gallon at 5 weeks (I should have done this at 4 weeks). Both transplants, roots had grown out and around the edge and could have been done much sooner (like 1.5 weeks and 3.5 weeks).

I call them "runts". I had about 5 in my bagseed grow. I helped them out, and 4 out of 5 have taken off. they are about 12 days worth of growth behind their germ-mates, but I suspect that they will produce something in the end.
