Napa...what are ideal humidity percentages? My plants are doing well, but if something easy can be done to make them even better, then I'll try it.

My temps are 78 degrees and humidity is 40%...I really thought having 1/2 gallon of open water in the closet would help more with the humidity.

LST LST LST!!! They look good, but with LST you can increase yeild, veg longer, and keep the overall height down due to your vertical restraints.

Here's a pic of the full setup currently. 1-125 watt 6500k bulb, 1-23 watt 2700k bulb, and 1-10 watt 2700k bulb. 158 watts total...and yes, I have the lights a bit higher than normal since my plants are almost too "squaty" and I want a tiny bit of stretching to cut clones effectively...

I can tell by the photos that it's definately in the 6500K range.

In answer to your question, yes...you can flower with that bulb. But it's not ideal to have one spectrum of lighting for the whole grow.

I think some new growers are afraid to try it because they think they might break the stem. But LST is crucial for CFL growers with limited space and lighting if they want a better yeild. I think the ball of twine was 99 cents and the clothes-pins were free...so cost is not an issue for anyone.

Look at all those tops! LST works wonders when done correctly!

Napa, it's strange...I got them in a closet with the door closed, and the main room door closed and I can still smell them just outside the door. The lemon smell has all but left, and now it's a spicy/skunky smell. And when I rearrange my LST twine they REALLY smell!

I have to add that the whole room already smells very strong, and I haven't even begun to go into the flower photoperiod.

I'm going to raise the lights to let them stretch just a tiny bit and take a top from each plant to clone. Then send the parents into flower a week later.

Both plants looking good, and about 3-4" from the lights. The LST is working great at getting the internodes to burst through the big fan leaves towards the light.
