Can you overdo it with Bacillus thuringiensis? (mosquito dunks)

Right, so how do you lower N when it's all right there in the soil? Should I repot into a lower nitrogen soil? My plants haven't entirely filled out their bags yet so it would be possible to knock out the super soil they haven't reached yet, and replace it some soil lower in nitrogen. I just...

Can you overdo it with Bacillus thuringiensis? (mosquito dunks)

Yes, but not intentionally as no-till. I've got a few 7-gallon bags in a super soil I made months ago, with a clover mulch layer. My plants are still in veg and have adjusted well to the soil; they're super dark green, but seem happy enough (besides the gnats.) What do you do about high nitrogen...

Can you overdo it with Bacillus thuringiensis? (mosquito dunks)

Thanks for the tip! I was also thinking I'd replace the living mulch of clover with some straw. I'm thinking the clover is providing the perfect conditions for the fungus gnats to gnaw on shallow roots.

Can you overdo it with Bacillus thuringiensis? (mosquito dunks)

Struggling with fungus gnats. Last week, I sprinkled a pack of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (this product) on the top of my soil before watering thoroughly, then spraying the clover I'm using as a living mulch with neem oil (this product). Last time, I split one 0.2 oz packet between my...

    Male plant?

Thanks for the advice. I'm worried I triggered the hermaphroditism because I accidentally had them on a 12-12 light schedule for the first two I had them days before changing it to 18-6. Is it safe to leave it in the tent? Or should I keep it outside to separate it from the others for the next...

    Male plant?

I got these 6 for $100 from a guy on Facebook marketplace who advertised them as female. I've already tossed two -- one male, and one that looked hermaphroditic. I reallllly don't want to have to throw out this one too.

    Male plant?

The plant identified as a $20 dollar bill that didn’t want to be thrown in the trash And while we’re on the topic I might as well confirm: is this a hermaphrodite?

    Extending super soil

I'm looking for the best way to extend some Subcool soil I made a few months ago. I had made about 50 gallons, but have since used some for tomatoes and peppers. Now I need more for my weed! I've got 2 cu. ft organic compost, 3 cu ft Turbo sphagnum peat moss, 3 cu. ft "Bumper crop organic soil...

    Too Early to Identify?

I got 2 plants of 3 strains each 2 Mendo Kush 2 Dosido 2 Cookies When I got the plants, I asked which was which. The guy said “you’ll know” I’m just wondering if there are any clues (height etc) at this stage that could tell me which is which strain

    Peach tree

This is the first year that this peach tree is fruiting! I’m wondering if I should pinch some of these peaches off so that the ones left to ripen are juicier.... To pinch or not to pinch? also, do you think those little plants at the bottom are gonna do harm in that pot?

Indica Rescue: an open grow journal

Wow, thanks for checking in. Long story short: another Rollitup user claimed to know my location by tracing the metadata on my photos, so I deleted all of them. :( I'm in the process of learning how to remove metadata from my photos before uploading them...
