This set up would work for 5 1000 watts. At 220 it is under 23 amps. Make sure you 10 gauge wire or larger. For 10 lights you would just need to add another contactor. Rather than the wire looms I would suggest setting it with boxes and outlets like this.
I realize this is old, but figured I would give my 2p. Imo mid to low 60's is optimal. As said before the lower temp can hold more oxygen, and help keep any root rot and other bacteria that may grow in the res at bay. However more important than the temp you choose is being able to maintain...
Here is the schematic for the T-101 http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/Intermatic/Documentation/Time%20Switches/Mechanical%20Time%20Switches/24%20Hour/T100%20Series/T101%20Instructions.ashx In my opinion it would be even easier to hook this up than the ones on here.
From your power in hook up...
If you put them all on 1 circuit yes it would be a probem. Keep the amps under 80% of the curcuit and you will be good. 400 watts uses a little under 4 amps so you could safely get 3 on a 15 amp breaker. running 110/120 that is.
I would go carbon also. There are a lot of precautions you need to take with ozone, and it can be a health issue if you do it wrong. With that said I have one and the thing does do an amazing job. However I just use it for a very short time outside my room if there is a knock on my door.
Being a long time Trimpro user I am with you all worrying about damage to the plant, but for me to be able to to harvest with just myself and my close friend is priceless. Plus the resin that get scraped off the grate shares first place of my favorite smoke with bho oil.
Sorry to confuse you. This should work for you then. I had a place like that once that set up so I could have either a gas or electric dryer. Just odd to only have 20A in the breaker.
That is very odd. Is it a 240 or 120 breaker. As long as it is 240 your current would be safe. If it is 120 you would be right at the limit. Above the limit if it where my set up as I, like most don't like to go above 75-80% of rated amperage. I would imagine it is a 240v breaker, but the...
Contactors are awesome for doing what we do. A hell of a lot safer than solid state relays. It is crazy how much cheaper a DIY of this is over the premade options out there
I would use it, like you said being breathable is nice nice to bring in air from all over. Light is easy to take care of with panda paper, blanket or just keeping it in a dark room. I have a 4 layer frame made out of pvc I place in my closet when it comes time to dry. I am sure you can fit...
That thing is sweet man. How hard is it to cut those boxes? I was planning to copy This diy http://howtobuildagrowroom.com/Hydroponics/index.php/9-diy-hydroponics/68-diylightingcontroller?showall=1&limitstart= Then add a high temp shut off for the summer months, I only need 4 plugs and I like...
