Using a 250w hps in a "large buxbox growtent". Before I go ahead and buy it, my only concern is the noise, the tent is quite close to where I sleep. Might have to look into fan mufflers

I don't want my plants to get huge, I'm only looking at a 1m x 1m x 2m tent. Can I limit growth, do I just change to 12/12 early? This is my current lighting setup that worked very well last year. Could this also work during flowering as well as veg?

This looks decent. This can work with 300w bulbs too. http://www.growell.co.uk/sun-mate-grow-cfl-reflector.html So maybe 2 of those could work quite nicely. Don't know if they'd fit in my tent though!

I already have a 250w HPS. When I tried it the first time I got very far, just started flowering actually, then I had to give them away. What's the deal with CFL's? I just want a no nonsense grow...
