I read that homemade carbon filters do also fine, i guess it depends how you make it, so I am putting my hopes up that it will work. I mean as long as when the cabinet is closed not to smell while exhausting hot air out, im fine with it. When I open it even if it smells a bit doesn't matter :) ...

It looks pretty good, looks like an expensive filter!! Unfortunately there are no PHRESH filters available where I live, so I will be building a filter myself!! So i think it should work fine. Your cabinet seems to be little taller than mine!
