You may not need to wait as long to make it tolerable but a good month long cure is what really makes it taste amazing, especially through a vaporizer. It only gets better the longer you cure it. I've got some 5 month old cured Jack Herer and Blue Dream and it is my cream of the crop!

You can always tie the taller branches down to even out your canopy!
