4/1 ratio is a bit overkill. 4/3 to 4/2 at most would be ok. I believe the neg pressure is just so you dont have unwanted smells escaping out of your tent. If you have a 400+ cfm out and only a 100cfm intake your tent will have a lot of stress as its trying to implode!
A MH can only be on during the lights on period where most of the humidity problem is during lights off. I am curious though, does it need to be a MH or will HPS lower the humidity further during light hours?
The fan controller I have ensures the fan can't turn off even when the temp drops below my target. I am about to add the 4th 600w hps next week, do you think that'll help?
