Hey man, those uv bulbs can burn the girls pretty easily (i found out) i wouldnt use it more than 6 hrs a cycle.. as for the heat... ADD CO2! lol itll help IMO. I would hang that white tower fan behind the lights facing out (blowing on the lights) and leave the doors open during the light...
hey, the girl i have flowering under the mh right now is dealing with about 83-90 degrees during lights on... but thats w co2. the ppm that a plant can use decreases with higher temps because of nute lock out. but co2 will add almost 200-300ppm more absorbstion of nutes. but thats with the co2...
so... These plants are 5-6 weeks from seed, so 3 weeks of veg. Its about 5" tall. It has been FIMmed. I was wondering what everyones general idea of it is. I understand the second picture is a little blurry. I'm open to suggestions, or if anyone thinks something is wrong.
oh.. and ive read using molassas during flower increases yields/density by 20%, and you can use it WHILE you flush! its really old news, but it may help you.
plants will double, if not, TRIPLE in size during flower. i would put them into flower ASAP. it sounds like you'll be alright though (if you do it soon). it also depends on what strain or type (ie-sativa/indica)
if it is not switchable they do have something called a conversion bulb... which would allow you to convert HPS to MH but usually the light isnt a strong as it would be if you were using a MH ballast w a MH bulb. but none the less MH is always better than cfls. i wouldnt use HPS for veg, ive...
whats up everybody, there is a seed that was put into a rapid rooter plug and the taproot is visible through the hole in the plug. its on day 2 or 3 under cfls and in a humidity dome. my question is......... should i worry about it? and what YOU think the possible solution to this issue is...
whats up everybody. I was curious as to, if youre using a remote ballast.. lets say 400w? would you be able to use ANY air cooled hood as long as the ballast will attach (via the cord) to the hood?...... or if it was a 600w hood you could only use a 600w ballast and so on and so forth...
my question is.. if i have an air cooled/enclosed hood that says its for 600w or 1000w and i would like to use 400w. does the wattage of the hood matter if i am using a remote ballast?:? thank you for your help ahead of time!
