depends on the real dimension of your grow space, your LxWxH. You're growing in a 3-D space, not a 2-D square. JUST is correct in assuming you have a limited growing space, 400w HPS will be to much. If you run a cool tube a 150w or even a 250w would be more than adequate for a plant or two in...

I would go 2x2x3ft for your box, you can find info on how to wire the fans and create light traps in the FAQ at the top right of the page. only other thing about your plans is i would move the intake kitty-corner from the exhaust as opposed to in a straight line... should make your air vortex...

The first picture is CLEARLY a male get rid of it unless your into collecting pollen or something, either way remove it completley from the rest of your ladies. that second picture looks a day or two from really being able to tell, can you upload pics of the same two plants now? Nice grow btw...
