Yah, always test out your PPM before you add anything to your water. Just saying. And you should check out the pH Perfect nutrients too, if you get the chance. I've been doing my research and it looks like they've even won an award. Back in 2010, sure, but I imagine they've gotten better in...

Yeah, I dont' think you should avoid bloom boosters altogether....that would really make your grow suffer, or at least not grow as well as it could. I would really encourage you to try at least a few......always worked for me. yah, the AN line is a bit much at first, but Big Bud is amazeballs...
