hello all. Just purchased a 150 w hps all in one lamp. My grow area is about 2'X4'.. I know this light is not strong enough for the grow area, but I plan on adding some cfls to make a up the difference in lighting.. My thought is to obviously suspend the 150 down to about 20inches above...

i know that the fan leaves are good for hash, but what about the leaves with all those sweet smelling crystals..I was just trimming my plant and smelled the resin from those little leaves...yum yum... do people save those for smoking ?? Is there much THC in those leaves with all the crystals ??

Okay, I know that in the past when the hairs are about 60% brown/red, its time to harvest (remember, I'm old school) But this thing about trichomes .... I see lots of close-up pictures, but where am I actually supposed to be looking for these trichomes ?? Are they on the hairs, the buds, or...

I currently have 5 females that are doing just great. The hairs are just starting to change color and they are growing nice and healthy....however..... 1 of my females has a top bud turned about 60% orange ... All the lower buds are not even close.... I have never had 1 bud mature so much...

I use all flouros and the temp is right around 72 degrees. so its not a temp problem. as long as the leaves are healthy, your fine...

Is this your first grow?? If so, I would start with your cfl and then swith to a HPS duriing flowering. There is lots of info on this site..so just brouse around to get started. good luck !!
