    Organic Feeding 101.

A Compost Tumbler works fine when you are short of space or in an urban area in general.

    Organic Feeding 101.

I use all my trimmed fan leaves and stalks as worm food. Get a pound of worms and a Rubbermaid tote and not only do you benefit from the organic matter as food/bedding for the worms, but you end up with the best fertilizer I know of! Put a compost tumbler on the back porch and you're on your...

    Organic Feeding 101.

In my opinion, you brew this waaaaay too long! By two weeks, the microbe colony is dead or dying. 36 to 48 hours is all you want. When the top is frothy and soapy looking, the microbes are at their peak and will start dying unless you continue to add "food". (this defeats the purpose) B61

The same goes for DIY attempts to duplicate those "formulas"

    The CORRECT homemade TERPINATOR/RESINATOR formula!

IMO All of these bottled "terp" formulas are just a way for the nute companies to fleece us out of our hard earned cash by promising something they can't deliver. Genetics and good soil biology is all you need. Feed your soil, not the plant. Watch your plant for signs of problems with your soil...

    Worms in Compost?

Hi brother. I have to disagree with you on this. I've been using worms in my pots for years and have only had 1 worm leave the pot. I'm in 7.5 gal fabric pots using Peat, compost and castings as a base. My soil stays moist, not wet and mostly its composed of organic matter. Everything a worm...

    Best nutrients out there

Bud Doublin organic. I use homemade compost and worm castings with some amendments. After a handful of runs, my soil starts getting depleted because I'm out of a bunch of my additives and am not made of money to buy more. Now I add castings, neem, rock dust and gypsum at the start of a new cycle...

    The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

I recently bought a set of Vortex9 2.5 gallon bubble bags by Cloudious9. I didn't need the 5 gal bags due to my small time growing. My question is, what is the minimum amount of product I can use for a batch of hash? Thanks in advance!

Possible nute deficiency OR light stress

They look fine. Maybe a slight light stress but nothing to worry about yet. Raise your lightzs a little and you should be cool. Great looking plants!

    Please people STOP using Boveda!

I believe the guy who started this thread probably had a beef with Boveda and is trying to give them a bad name. Its very common for vindictive people to trash good products because theyre pissed for one reason or another.

    Alfalfa as an amendment?

Thanks. Do you think a hand full would make my worms happy?

    Alfalfa as an amendment?

I have about half a bale of alfalfa hay for my compost tumbler, but I'm getting ready to start building my soil for the next grow. If I chop a bunch of the hay up in a food processor, can that be used as "alfalfa Meal" and be added to my soil mix?
