Thanks guys, I guess I'll just watch them over the next couple days and see what happens.
Also, should i just cut the seeds out if it is a hermy? They are only in this one spot so I wouldn't want to axe the whole plant.
Thanks again
6 1/2 weeks into flower and I spotted some ball-like objects forming near the base of one of my babies top cola.
We had a nasty heat wave about a week ago that lasted approx 3 days. Temps were around the 90's.
Any advice appreciated, first time grower here.
Thanks
They got hit with some harsh time released nutes on their last watering, which I'm pretty sure is what set this off.
Definitely not heat as these plants stay at a perfect 78 deg. all day under cfls.
They roots are water logged right now because of noobish overwatering
I have 6 4 week old plants that have been progressing nicely, except for the fact that they are currently in some overwatered, gnat-infested, miracle grow soil.
In any case, we are probably going to transplant all of the plants to a milder soil with pearlite.
Three of the plants have...
Would I just shake off as much dirt as possible from the roots if I were to transplant?
I'll also look into flushing more. Not saying you're wrong, but putting 6 gal. of water into my soil sounds like it would be a death sentence for these little kids
I just meant if it doesn't get worse overall.
Also, if I end up repotting, I'm guessing I should somehow get the old soil off the roots. What's the best way to do this?
A friend of mine needed to get rid of his 3 week old seedlings and I offered to take them. I cleared out a 3x6 closet and have 6 plants under 6 100w equivalents.
After receiving them from the previous owner, I realized that they needed replanting. Ran out and got supplies quickly, and...
I have some 3.5 week old seedlings in my closet right now, and I'm afraid they might be getting nute burn.
The problem here is that the plants were recently watered (probably a little too much actually, they are a bit droopy this morning). So now I can't decide to flush them and let them...
Ok thanks a ton. They are actually looking pretty nice right now, no discoloration of the leaves or anything. I'll keep a close eye on em over the next couple days though.
Thanks a ton for the advice, saving my ass
Also i'll try to get pics
Yeah I'm dealing with equivalents, so I'm definitely going to the store tomorrow for some better (and more) lights.
But as far as feeding goes, you say feed them but don't add more nutrients. I'm assuming you mean watering?
Sorry, true noob here
the leaves have fallen of and all. The miracle grow 21 - 7 - 14, which i think is very strong. I don't know what the previous soil is. Should I still feed with a gentle nitrogenous fert?
Also I am running 2 75 watt cfls so should i still get 4 more or so? I think you said 4-6 25 watts so...
