Cool, cool. I might experiment a bit here. Il head out in a few days or so and look for a couple CFL's. Seeing clones need only low light il try that small 6w globe (nice and small for the small light box I made up) as well as a bigger one. Thanks to all for the info!

Cool, thanks for that. But I have just a few more questions to clear things up. 1. Approx how many lumens is needed per clone/small plant? 2. Is it true that cooler colors (eg. 6500K) are better for veg? 3. Will going overboard with CFL's damage the plant? (not that I will be).
