    Plants drooping?!

UPDATE. the left plant is recovering fast. I went ahead and made my own "UC roots" (Hypochlorous acid) and started adding it to my system. I've been wanting to try UC roots for a while but after reading up on it and learning that all it is, is a diluted chlorine solution I just made my own. $5...

    Plants drooping?!

I thought that might have been the issue. When the water level dropped maybe the roots exposed to air became air roots absorbing oxygen, like in a kratky setup. But after hearing from people here that my roots were not healthy I'm sure it was just a combination of things. Because I've ran kratky...

    Plants drooping?!

I read your post literally right after I added H2O2 to the res. I have 34% on hand from my last DWC grow that I did before I got the chiller (major rot problems). Here's an update. I've got some new roots popping out and the lower part of the plant is starting to perk up a lot more.

    Plants drooping

I was going along with Current Culture's feeding schedule but after I started increasing the PPM as the schedule suggested the leaves started to turn really dark green and leathery. I read that is a sign of over feeding or beginning signs of nitrogen toxicity. So I decided to back off and keep...

    Plants drooping?!

I'm using Apera PH20 meter and HM Digital TDS-EZ from amazon. I was following the current culture feeding schedule, but when I bumped up the nutrients on week 3 the leaves became dark and leather, which from what I've ready is a symptom of over feeding so I backed off and kept it at around...

    Plants drooping?!

My plants started drooping 4-5 days ago. the roots look alright, a little browning but no rot that I can see. Water temp fluctuates from 66-68 (chiller). PPM is 190 using current culture veg a and b, coco called and hydroguard, PH is 5.8. The only thing I can think of is shock from rising water...

    Plants drooping

Can you elaborate on the no waking up? Because they have sprung up when the lights are on for 3 days now. I don't see any signs of deficiencies, so I'm confused lol Here's more pictures. It looks like some of the lower branches are springing up (2nd and 3rd pic).

    The power of Venturi!

It came with the pump. It's an ActiveAqua 250gph pump. Every pump I've gotten came with the venturi nozzle. It's the one with a small hole on the side of it where the hose attaches to. This hose runs up above the surface of the water to draw in air.

    The power of Venturi!

Well I think my theory is correct. It's only been a few days since I moved the pump to the rights side and the right plant has really taken off and is growing faster than the left one now.

    The power of Venturi!

It's just the basic Venturi nozzle and hose that came with the pump. There are other setups on youtube that make much smaller bubbles.

    The power of Venturi!

Here you go. It was hard to get a clear shot because of the churning water. You can see the white PVC pipe to the left. I think the small bubbles were being sucked into the pipe and into the left bucket where the plant is.

    The power of Venturi!

The plant on the left kept growing a lot faster than the other, and I've been wondering why. Both Sundae Driver cuts from the same plant, they both rooted pretty much the same time, so i didnt understand. Today I think I figured it out. In the control bucket, I have a pump with a venturi valve...

Anyone use a Venturi injector for aeration?

Ever since I saw product demo video by a company called O2 Grow, I've been interested in alternate methods of aeration. The O2 Grow product is just ridiculously priced so I looked for alternatives and a found the Venturi method. I had a spare 250gph pump that came with a venturi kit, so I put it...
