I read on a few sites that diatomaceous earth is high in silica, 80%-90%. Can this silica be used by plants? I was just thinking, if plants could use it then that would give my plants silica while keeping the pests at bay, for $10. I read its a good soil amendment due to its physical properties...

Unless it's just shitty construction, that's weird that both bulbs are doing that.

They are, 3-4 month feeding I read. I'm not a fan of how Jobe's doesn't have any feeding schedule on the bag or the website. I flushed it really good twice this week so maybe enough came out. I'm going to let it take in the straight water for a while then see what happens. Thanks
