It's important to let the compost to go a long time, like 9-12 months. Ideally the heap is located above fertile ground so worms can finish it off. Or alternatively let it go one month then feed it to a worm bin and let them sterilize it.
Keep in mind if you are growing vigourous veggies they will eat lots of CO2. I recommend instead growing herbs like rosemary, lavender, lemon balm, peppermint, yarrow and pyrethruym daisy in your growroom.
Quinoa is also anti-fungal, I know because I tried to grow fungus (mycelium) on it and it did not work very well. That's good news for folk's who eat quinoa, in addition to it having a complete amino acid profile.
