you are my hero ty for reply
I have just been curious about how the inrush current of these led drivers are on traditional b type breakers which your able to run 6drivers per 20 amp220v. That's an answer I like to hear
Nice work Aaron and thanks for sharing the progress can't wait to see more. Can I ask how many 550's you have per breaker? How are they all dimmed/ timed together?
Is that to say you've started up to 8 of these drivers on a direct wire to a 240v 15amp beaker type b?
The Titan controller is rated for 20 amp output @240v
Mostly just a concern about the units ability to handle inrush
Howdy,
Meanwell driver HLG-240H-2100
Steady state current draw @240v = 1.3A
Inrush current for .7ms ~75A
Will I be able to run 12x of these drivers using a Helios4 Titan controller?
I plan to wire three drivers together on AC side and plug into one of the Titan controller outlets rated at...
ok so cc = series
cv = parallel
(wiring of boards)
and either set-up allows for dimming.
do i have this correct:
When calculating total voltage of a cc driver wired in series: each board adds voltages and draws same current as rated by driver, so get driver thats rated to output correct...
oh wait what.. would that mean that i can run the same # boards / 20 Amp break 120V and 240V??
I'm in a residential setting currently so 277 would not be the best fit
@nfhiggs ty for your clear answers very helpful, ill hav to look into PWM
@619kt619 ty for your quick reply
@banke1 i want what you have i think, tyvm for sharing. may i ask is there a reason 3board/driver vs 4
sounds like i just need to get myself a 5way wego and 240v plug with pony tail...
I see. Sorry for noob question.
I should rephrase: I want to light a 4x4 flower space using 4x boards
what are the different configs of drivers / advantages vs disadv
i hope for universal dimming of the 4 boards.
also hypothetical, i have a friend, who wants to light 100 sq feet and would...
Howdy, I've been picking up tips and bits here and there reading through this forum but wanted to make my first thread to consolidate my understanding of HLG quantum boards.
From what I gather please point out my mistakes:
The new 288 qbs can be run in series or parallel.
Series = constant...

Howdy,
I am hoping to purchase several of your new Quantum Board Kits that come with 2 boards / heat sink {260W XL QB V2 LED KIT}'s. I am a bit out of my element when trying to understand how many lights i will be able to run off of...
