If it were me, I'd just leave the lid cracked. I also wouldn't handle the cakes without gloves on for fear of introducing something... but that might just be my aseptic technique OCD kicking in. How long did that cake incubate before you birthed it?

What are the benefits of using an actual pH up/down product to adjust water/feed pH over lemon juice and a very dilute solution of CaOH? Are the pH up/down better at buffering the soil at X pH? Its my understanding that using calcium in this way may cause the soil pH to drift up over time, is...

The two having issues are also lighter green compared to their younger friend. Is it possible by not adding any nutrients at all up to this point they need some N? I've been hesitant to add anything as I burned one pretty badly last go round.

Soil runoff pH is 5, which seems way low for the soil to reading as high as it seems to be.

Hows the humidity? Can you turn down the speed on the exhaust fan some, keeping the warmed air in the tent longer before exhausting it? Considered draping a blanket or two over the top of the tent?
