    yeah I do the finger!! lol...... also got the weight of the plant down packed with water and without(dry), so i also use that technique

    The lights are pretty close about 2" from top! As for watering, i hear alot about over watering so i travel that road cautiously, but since transplant I water every three days or so

    Im running with 1-20w 2-24w 1-36w of 5500K and 1-20w of 2500k...

    is this a good lamp to grow weed with? could it work with different flouresant bulb?

    yeah its ok. but by the end youll need more light which means more fixtures.. you can get a dual bulb splitter!! to maximize your lumens output
