I found aero did not penetrate the root mass once it really exploded, it was like a thick ball, spraying instead of misting made the roots grow long and trail out, true aero is problematic and best in theory. Spraying with no medium works well

I use salt fed coco, use sprouts regularly. I don’t think it matters it’s the properties in the roots, if your growing it pretty easy to wash and dry some roots and try it
