Ph more then likely. Take it down to 7 max. Buy some Espoma soil acidifier, from Home Depot. Do not rely on PH down as a permanent soil ph solver. Plus it has the potential to kill/harm beneficial soil microorganisms. Silly question are there Home Depots in Ole' Canada?
