I got two tattoos (half sleeve idea in the works.) Got my first one upper middle black which was relatively painless and the second one I got on the right side of the ribs. It was pretty painful, and on a scale from 1 - 10 I would give in about a 6-7. Not the type of pain that had in me in tears...
