I had the same problem. the contact with the grommet and glass is dry. I was able to use a paperclip and run it in between the stem and grommet while it was under water. It eventually broke the seal and I was able to twist the stem. If it's still a problem try using some oil to break the seal...

Your PPM is fine. I slam plants with 2500-3000. I wouldn't hit those with over 1300. Looks like it might be more a Potassium (K) problem. I don't use Ebb n Flo but use hydroton and I keep my PH more at 5.6-5.8. bongsmilie

This is a must have if your running true aeroponics. Their not that expensive anymore. 30-60 bucks. Most hydro setups don't need it with a 2-3 hour power outage anyway. Also these UPS's are not for the lights. You can do the math to figure out what size you need.

I just bought a Nextgen about a month ago. It's so frickin tiny, air cooled, fires MH or HPS, switchable 400W or 600W and can fire a bulb 65' away, so they say. It's suppose to be more energy efiecient and a percentage brighter also. I don't know about the later. Didn't meter the light level...
