    Chelated Micronutrients

Not an expert on this, but my understanding is that the salts in fertilizer are prone to reacting with each other, forming insoluble precipitates. making them unavailable to the plant. chelation is supposed to wrap up some of them in protein making it harder for them to react with other...

    powdery mildew and bugs

serenade is a bacteria, Bacillus subtilis, it shouldn't effect flavor at all. afaik that along with treatments like alkaline water, soap, various oils, sulfer... only kill the part of the mildew that is on the surface of the plant. so it will still be there. I do know one guy that completely...

    Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (MiraLax) ??

I think the # for peg refers to the size of the molecule. ppl use peg 200, 300, and 400 for ecigs.

Would you trim the underneath of this Scrog? pics!

I trim the lower growth when i scrog. if it's not going to get good light or it's in the way of the airflow under the screen ( I blow a fan under the screen), I cut it off. totally up to you if that's something you want to do, there's a lot of argument about trimming.

    yet another foxtailing post

80 is kinda on the hot side if your not running co2 imo. I've also gotten foxtailing from hormones, like if I added a bunch of kelp or alfalfa tea near the end of flower.

who's mixing their own salt ferts?

still looking at doing this at some point. probably will go jack's hydro for a while first tho. the only problem for me is dealing with the micro nutrients. don't want to have to buy each of them separately. also the more I read about it, the more I get confused about the different chelation...

I have always had pits and pit mixes, I love them. No personal experience with dogo's tho. I think its a similar breed in its needs tho. For owners that are strong, assertive, and decisive that have lots of love patience and time to spend on their pups, I think they are great, pits and...

Picture of your pet thread !!!

not being critical of any breed in particular, btw theres the same issue with cannabis strains, the better breeders will back cross with the origional breeds (strains) periodically to bring in fresh dna. But theres alot of breeders (animals and plants) that just get a male and a female and breed...

the issue, and a lot of other issues with various "pure" breeds, is that they are inbred.

Will Boveda 72% be to High??

Personally I think 62% is right on the verge of being too wet. If your buds are a little on the dry side it seems perfect, but If they are a little wet before you put them in jars I have had mold after a couple months. personally I think a 60% would be ideal but that's just me. Most ppl seem...

who is using non-coco specific nutes?

yeah afaik they mix it up there. It's just got too much unnecessary stuff for me, yucca, mollassis powder... it just kinda dilutes it imo. still, pretty happy with it, it's working well. I switching to jack's hydro tho probably as i think it's a much better deal. I'd like to just mix my own, but...
