1st grow, Bugs! Need Help! Please!

- 1 month old

- 3 plants

- FFOF soil

So today for the first time i saw these very tiny bugs moving around in the soil of my plants. They are amazingly tiny. So small you have to put your face directly right in front of the soil, inches away and focus as hard as you can just to catch a sight of one. And even when you do see one its crazy hard to follow it with your eyes because of how small they are. I would say as big as a gran of sugar or sand. Maybe a tiny bit bigger. I haven't seen them before so idk how long they have been there, but i would say not longer than a day or two because I thoroughly check my plants everyday and haven't seen them ever. But then after I watered, I had a hard to finding them. Did i drowned them? I wanted to post a pic because i know how helpful it can be to people trying to identify a problem, but i assure you theres no possible way i can get a pick one because of the size. You would need a scientist's microscope just to get a good look at one of these things. I haven't seen any of these bugs on the actual plants, only in the soil. All the plants look really good and healthy. If you need to see some pics of the plants to get and idea, this forum has the most recent pics … https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/809374-first-top-how-did-i.html …. The plants are a little bigger than is this pic, but they still look good and a healthy green color.

If anyone knows what these bugs could be, or how I can get rid of them please let me know asap! Any info helps, I just don't want to wake up in a few weeks, go into my grow room and have a serious problem. What ever this bug problem is now I'm pretty sure I caught it at an early stage, and no serious damage has been done yet. Hopefully I can get rid of the problem before it gets any worse. So anyone please help!

Check the undersides of your leaves closely they could be spider mites. If so there is a ton of info on how to get rid of them or at least keep them at bay. Just do a search on spider mites.

I don't think its spider mites, leaves look really healthy, along with the plants. I haven't seen any of these bugs on the actual plants just in the soil.

Neem Tome ....use Neem Oil to rid you of any bugs, avoid breathing in the soil dust ...its how you catch legionnaire disease ...nasty shit!!

Sound good, but i don't want to put something in the soil, that could release something bad in the air in my house, where i live, and my family lives, and breathes. I don't want to get anyone sick, especially give them a disease!

Neem drench won't hurt you or your family. Do some research on it if you are concerned. If you have good eyes you can see spider mites with your naked eye no problem.
Could be predator mites too, I have heard that FFOF sometimes has them in it even though they are not listed on the bag. Good luck.
