raise the soil to the top of the cup, ignore the yellowness of the first primary leaves, those are supposed to wilt away.

Depends what the light is, is is CFL? MH or HPS? or just a light.
MH is good for vegging stage.

also how much sould i be watering these i usually water once a day.....
Water when dry, can be everyday if drying quick, or every three days. Put finger in soil to feel if damp, but do not let dry out.

Bring your light down to stop the plant stretching and add more soil to top of pot, (up to the first seed leaves).

Most mistakes growing are made by trying to do too much for them... (voice of experience)

An ordinary light will not give out the spectrums required (blues and reds).
The nearer the light , the happier the plant, it will stretch when wanting more light.

You want your stem to be about one-two inches high when the first leaves (not seed leaves) appear, then hopefully less than 1cm inbetween nodes (next set of leaves appearing). the more close together the leaf sets grow, the better.

Do not worry about transplanting it yet, get its roots growing strong.

CFL (compact floresent light) is good , can have quite a few and get a good crop.

MH , metal halicide gives off blue light. good for vegging but can used throughout the whole growing process.

HPS, high pressure sodium , this is the light that gives off the reds. This is great for flowering, again also can be used for both flower and veg.

Now ideally to get the bestest ever plants you would run both lights at same time. The more light power there is , the better the end product.

but this is not always good if you on a budget and also the size of room you have is very important to what lighting you need.

Now you need to let us know how much space you have to grow in.

All i recommend is Just fill them pots up with more soil just below your yellow leaves and be very ... very ..patient ...

No need for transplanting yet, this will stress your plant out and stress is no good for a female.
give no plant food for three weeks, just water when damp, do not spray leaves.

The first round seed leaves only feed the plant whilst first growing so do not worry about them going yellow.

Research & plan what you need to do whilst waiting for those babies to grow up.

man just run down to your local target, walmart, kmart, etc... and pick up some cfl's (not very expensive. i got 4 26w 6500k for $18 and 4 26w 3000k for $13) that will use less watts and give your plant more light which it will need to grow.

No problem , I not an expert but read alot as i just started out myself.

I'm sorry to say that light will do nothing but make your plant grow taller with not much leaves ... which means not many bud sites. A window would do the same probably.

If you get some CFL'S (ebay sell them) then you can put lights right up close to plant, almost touching them and they will not burn. At least with cfls and a few of them ,you can move them around.

You can also get Ballast & MH or HPS from Ebay.

They range from 50w to over 1000w

I am using 250w for my 3x3x5(H) grow space, i may get one to three good plants grow them to about 12 inches then flower.

(They then double/ triple in size also which is why stem need to be short so its buds do not break it with weight, some people top/fim and grow several colas (buds), but this is later on when you get them going good.)

Rather that growing two plants with two huge buds you can have two plants with 16 colas, some say it lessens yield, some say it is the same. this is so you can keep light on same level rather than having 4' plant with bottom buds not getting lights. sea of green (sog) its known as. Many short plants than few tall ones.

I'm running ahead of myself here sorry ...

It's funny really, I trying to give advice and keep having many deaths of plants and you are ahead of my grow... But i think i was to keen and did too much. So please if anyone wants to jump in and correct me, please feel free.. hehe

you will probably need a 600w MH/HPS with ballast and do not forget the fan.
