Well, im lettin the soil dry out a bit. I know slab said dont sweat the ph too much but, I checked the tapwater last night and got an 8.2ph! wtf! it was about 7.2 a year ago. So I may have fucked them up a bit with the tap water. I had also recently been misting them with the tap also. I found the Brita to actually drop to 6.2ph! Im gonna use the brita for the next waterings due to whatever the hell started happening. Pale and thinning leaves, new growth is deformed and curled. Also now battling spidermites. But imma keep at it! PEACE!

Keep after it, Xub! It'll all be worth it when you're enjoying a good smoke ;) From what I've seen so far, these plants are very resilient.

Only water when the plants needs it. Never go on gut or intuition, that leads to drowning.

seems to be the progression. leaves from left pic eventually end up like the right one.

Should the ol epsom treatment maybe help?

By the way soil has been generically tested at 7.0ph

I see the mite bites, good call. I use hotshot pest strips from the homedepot.

Yes i would treat for mag deficientcy, only after they have dried out thoroughly.

Thx again Slab. Ur info is straight and civil! Peace and Love to ya! Im now stuck having to find a new home right in the middle of this shit. Landlord said he is short saleing the house and hand delivered a 30 notice to vacate last night. Im like WTF! We paid rent here on time for just over 6 years. But it is obviously his problem, and so we just need to get out without any further stress. Yes we are off lease now, actually as of 2013, so he maybe had this planning already. Oh well i just set up an appt. for a larger pad(1700 sq ft.)on 2 acres foor today at noon. 1k a month is awesome for it. i just gotta see the inside. Right now we are in a 1357 sq ft. home with a little backyard for 1300 a month. So change can actually be a fricken come up!

NE ways I hope to keep the girls growing and must keep them vegging till the move is complete. I wouldnt want to move around flowers, ya naw mean!

pix 4 shows yellow vein, the veiny look of leaves, usually mg def...but its not gonna help you if your ph is too high....get ph to correct levels while you treat or its all for nothin.

i was taught that you stick your index finger in the pot, up to the middle knuckle. if dirt sticks you are good on watering.

oh shit! thats a grip of mites...i never even looked that up before. its my first encounter with these fuckers. I have done a bit of readin up on them..... and didnt realize...So I should do another wash every other day or so.....?

That first one is the BlueBerry(orange pot). Seems to have a bit of rust still, but looks better than it did. Should I get rid of the rusted leaves. They dont seem to be affecting the rest of the plant...put spread is what i dont want.!

If it is 50% green it is recommended you keep it.

Not sure? What are you spraying?

Do you have a complete infestation?

We found a full infest tonight...yep. live mites after first wash. Actually looks to be about 1 leaf out of 10. I consider that full infest. about 10 mites per leaf, and eggs all over! ALL OUT WAR!!!!

I take a garbage bag and wrap up the pot and make it waterproof, then take homegirl in the shower. Hang her upside down and give a good rinse.

i also have left a plant outside for a week or so, it survived and the mites didn't t lol.

Are all your plants infested? If not , quarantine.

You can use bug bombs, but nothing beats those pest trips.

mites gone....now stay away fuckers!
just back from a week vacation and left the girls in 24 light, gave em a good water before i left. They are kickin ass! Temps are great out now. Im still gonna bring them in at night though. And keep them under at least 16 hours. I may just let them mother out for me, since they are already hittin 6 mos old. And then let em harvest for fall. IDK... But Im moving on the first. So i aint gonna let em flower until we are moved and settled in. PEACE

Lookn good homegirl!

looks like the soil needs to be raked. After you water the soil gets compacted, I fluff mine up. The roots like to grow there, not to deep mind you, don't want to beat up the root ball.
