1 Week Old Plants Leaning Over!!!

Maybe I am jumping the gun on this one but I have 2 1 week old plants that are have been leaning over and not growing stright up. I'm thinking it might be because the root has rooted all the way down yet? Let me know what you guys think, I've ruled out anything nute or water related since the plants look healthy and the ph is at 5.7 and I am not using much nutes. I'm also growing it with led's, is it possible this is causing the problem? Should I put up the 400 MH yet?

I am ready for the feeback
Thanks,

well you really shouldnt be using any nutes on that little thing imo....the reason its leaning is because its aiming for the light...from ur pic it seems that the light is to the left and possibly too far away...using the mh would fix it if you wanted to but i personally ise flouros al lthe way through veg with great results...id reposition your light over the top of the plant or turn the pot around and it will straighten...keep your flouros about 2-4 inches from the top of the plant and this wont happen anymore

how close are the leds. If they are like what I read about them, then they are like fluorescent bulbs. 1-2 inches away even on the young ones is not too close. So, move the lights closer. Also, they are babes and the internodal spacing on the little ones doesn't look off, so don't worry about it. They will correct themselves in a couple of days.

The LED's were 2 feet from the seeds and they are the bridgelux 2w led's (Chinese made). I just took out the LED system and put in my 400 watt MH and moved up the cubes just .15 of an inch in case it is getting water logged. I am growing it in a rainforest 66 and the root has already grown out and into the water . I also moved the light over the right so hopefully this will help fix the problem. I will update it tonight with a picture, thanks for the help guys.

Just let the roots work man. they will anchor that shit down. and if its a bad lean. post them up with bamboo sticks.

a little leaning is never bad, it will strengthen the stem up eventually. but yea, rotate your plants. I rotate mine once a day, usually right after the light turns on. If you dont have bamboo sticks ( I've never seen them in under 5 foot lengths tbh) Popsicle sticks work great for that stage. You could make a tripod up around the lil guy and use a twist tie to secure it to the sticks. prob solved :)

lol I know you guys may think I am nuts but I took out the 400 Mh because I almost set my room on fire. I had the light a little too close to my clothes (which is the reason I decided to go to LED's). So for my next paycheck I will probably add a Kessil Magneta for $150 which adds a very good coverage area. I also noticed that when I put the MH in the plants in my rainforest 66 on the left started reaching for the other LED's on the right. Why do you think this is?

they incredibly small. One week from seed. I didn't catch that. They will correct themselves. Don't push the light quite yet. They don't much of anything but time right now. make sure they don't dry out.

okay, will keep an eye on them thanks meicalmary. I also put the leds about 12-15inchs away from the plants and have started to rotate the trays a bit.

Mine did the same thing just turn the pot everyday and it will keep going back to the light and after a while it will stop doing that. It worked for me.

Thanks once again, they are now about 4 inches from the tops of the plants. They seem to be reaching for the tops now.

Yeah like kermit said, the lights are way too far away - you can literally touch the lights to the plants (this isn't a reccomendation) because LED's put out so little heat that you'd never need to worry about scorching

ok so a newer problem arose, I moved the leds to the right and moved the mh to the left and it seems that one of my little small plants are dying. the ph is the same and I haven't added anymore nutes. It looks like its drying out. Let me know what you guys think.
