Help! Same conditions, different problems, what's goin on? +Pics

Hi all,

Growing a couple of Auto's and

Here's the info first:

Medium: BioBizz All-Mix Soil

Lights: CFL Total 266 watts

Plants' age: All are approx. 1 month from seed.

Here's the story:

Started in jiffy cups in Light-Mix. Moved them to 8 liter pots with All-Mix.
1-I was feeding all of them 1ml/L Root Juice in the 2nd week.
2-Then started Fish-Mix 1ml/L strength at 3rd week.
3-Then I bought a digital pH tester and tested my water that -on the bottle it said it's 6.8- the meter read: 5.7 !!!! And I was adding nutes to that water.
4-Then on Day 25 I pH'ed my water to 7 and since they were flowering so rapidly I gave them 1ml/L Fish Mix and 1ml/L of BioBloom. (Also have to note that I was watering them once a week letting the top 2 inches get real dry so I was always feeding. Then for 12 days the pots didn't seem light and the top part didn't dry out so I did not water. Day 25 was the day I watered/fed.)

Yesterday when I was inspecting the plants closely I came upon a bunch of problems, and here they are with pics:

Plant 1: Haze Auto

I'd like to say it's curling or cupping, but it seems like the leaf didn't know it was going to grow 7 blades or something. Most fan leaves look like this, and they are glossy unlike the other plants:



Plant 2: Roadrunner

I've got some discoloration on the lower leaves:

And the top shoots are yellowing at the tips: (I thought it was light stress so I pulled up the CFL fixture a bit now)
---> if you make it larger it's easier to see what I'm talking about.

Plant 3: Mystery Sprout (Possibly Haze Auto)

Yellow freakish spots on the very low leaves which turned pale green:


Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help a fellow grower

Otherwise all the plants above don't seem to be stunted or anything. They are more or less all the same size.

My other 2 plants are Auto AK47's. They have been through the exact same treatment but they show no signs of anything. Look pretty healthy. Here's one:


I hope it's some kind of pH problem that can be solved just with flushing and I wouldn't worry about it anymore. Any other info about the grow is on my journal which is in my signature.

from what i see, and the first paragraph i read, you have fluxuated you Ph by a fuckload and the plant is like "hey, wtf?"...they dont look to bad tho, keep you pH in check and you should be straight, BioBloom is good shit

You have some deficient elements look around for explanations on what they are and how to fix them. buttttt

plant 1 N overdose

plant 2 deficiency N or Mn or S im not sure need to look into it when im not dazed /// possibly Fe but thats the least one

plant 3 Mg deficient

But please look into this yourself because there might be some differences in strain

i say......flush you plant with water at 6.0 - 6.5, then get back on the regular feed schedual but watch your pH and keep it in range...alot of people like to make shit more dificult than it is....yea you MIGHT have multiple deficencies, but not because the nutriens arnt there, its because the plant cant get them, there "locked out" do to a pH issue..do what you feel is right man, good luck

I gotta flush tomorrow. (gotta a wait a bit more to get the soil dry)

and then next watering maybe add Dolomite Lime depending on the runoff from the flush? I just ordered some.

Is that a good idea?

you said you have a digital pH tester....get your ph in range bro 6.0-6.5...., i dont and never have used dolomite lime, but i hear its good... make sure you ajust you pH AFTER adding nutriens to the water man...

Well bro if you're sober I hope you look at it again I'm thinking Iron def too. First gotta solve the pH issue and maybe it will find the Fe it needs in there.

This Mg defiency points at a pH issue as well I guess.

I will post results after I flush here... What do you think of using Dolomite Lime for next watering? I read somewhere that you can add it as a powder in luke warm water and feed the babies with that.

get yourself some Quantum Growth microorganisms, Get your soil in better condition. The micros will feed the plant ten times faster than it can by itself. They will take the stress away from the plant. they are not spore formers and will remain active under any condition working for your plants creating the sugar (plant food) for the plant. All the plant has to do is grow and produce and it will using Quantum growth. I have increased my seed to harvest time by three to four weeks. Not just once but for the last year. I also have quite spending money on all the other crap outthere. You still have to feed them some nutrients so the microbes have something to eat. i have found mollasses works the best and its cheap. I don,t even use Hydroznye anymore and that saves a couple of hundred each time I start my clones. Look up Quantum Growth online, I found Douglas speed and associates out of Fl. to be customer friendly and product knowlegable with great prices on the product. Try it you like it. Indoorman

Thanks for all the input guys !

Flushed them each with 16 liters of water.
Let it dry a bit for 3 days then I watered them with Lime water at ph7.0
and then I fed them the regular BioBizz nutes plus Epsom Salts.
The main problem seemed like a nutelock due to pH which locked Ca, and that resulted in Mg and Fe deficiencies.

Since the flush I do not see any worsening of the leaves. I'll have to wait and see if it progresses.
