Hi i have been growing my plant for about 1 month and 1 week.
I started with seed, i germinated by way of two paper towel method, i waited for this seed to grow a root of around 1/4 -1/2 inch. at this time i did not have any soil or good light it was my first time starting off, so i had planted the seed into soil i had gotten from outside, not bad stuff and i siffed tthrough it to try getting any bugs and extra roots from past plants out. from there i had stuck it in a closet with 2 42 watt cfl's i know that is not sufficent lighting it was growing fine though for around 2-3 weeks with that and normal non ph tested water. ( my tap water i now know is around 7.0-8.0)
At around 2-3 weeks i had gone out and got myself a sunblaze 44 4 bulb 4 foot long flourescent t5 system with advanced nutrients grow, bloom and micro including ph up and down and advanced nutrients plus and grow and bloom i have keep a studious regimen of nutrient going in keeping by the sceduales given.and since i have switched this to the t5 system and nutirents it seems to be going downhill i thought it would help.
i water my plants 1 time a day with enough water to have water withing all the soil or rockwool and i do not water intill i can feel it is to dry or can see it is to dry. usually 1 time every 24 hrs. lights are on 18 hrs 6 hrs off i have a 6 inch clip on osilating fan going and now switched it to a little bigger area around 3 feet by 2 feet soon i will move to a 5 foot by 3 foot room
the leaves are curling and turning brown and it has not grown for over 2 -6 days or if it does not to wear i can see it. i cut of the first 3 sets of big leaves due to they were dying and i heard thats what you are supposed to do.
i know what i have written is all blibberblabber but im stonded and really worried please help with anything you can i will answer any questions you have just please let me know what i can do or if i have failed and have to restart.bongsmilie

looks kinda bad sorry lol i would say lower your lights or raise your plant just dont burn it, but your problem could be one of these
Magnesium (Mg) deficiency: Magnesium deficiency will exhibit a yellowing (which may turn brown) and interveinal chlorosis beginning in the older leaves. The older leaves will be the first to develop interveinal chlorosis. Starting at leaf margin or tip and progressing inward between the veins....This can be quickly resolved by watering with 1 tablespoon Epsom salts/gallon of water. Until you can correct nutrient lockout, try foliar feeding. That way the plants get all the nitrogen and Mg they need. The plants can be foliar feed at ½ teaspoon/quart of Epsom salts (first powdered and dissolved in some hot water). When mixing up soil, use 2 teaspoon dolomite lime per gallon of soil.
If the starting water is above 200 ppm, that is pretty hard water, that will lock out mg with all of the calcium in the water. Either add a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of epsom salts or lime both will effectively reduce the lockout.Mg can get locked-up by too much Ca, Cl or ammonium nitrogen. Don't overdo Mg or you'll lock up other nutrients.

Phosphorus (P) deficiency:
Fan leaves are dark green or red/purple, and may turn yellow. Leaves may curl under, go brown and die. Small-formed buds are another main symptom.
Phosphorus deficiencies exhibit slow growing, weak and stunted plants with dark green or purple pigmentation in older leaves and stems.
Some deficiency during flowering is normal, but too much shouldn't be tolerated. Red petioles and stems are a normal, genetic characteristic for many varieties, plus it can also be a co-symptom of N, K, and Mg-deficiencies, so red stems are not a foolproof sign of P-deficiency. Too much P can lead to iron deficiency.
Purpling: accumulation of anthocyanin pigments; causes an overall dark green color with a purple, red, or blue tint, and is the common sign of phosphate deficiency. Some plant species and varieties respond to phosphate deficiency by yellowing instead of purpling. Purpling is natural to some healthy ornamentals.

alright i will try look up about thoose two, but i wont act yet due to not knowing fully, come on people help me out i really would love to have this fixed

:bigjoint:your plants seem to be doin alright but i would suggest a better water source or get a filter to lower your ph your burning your plants at 7.5 as for your lighting this will do for a while but recomend geting at least 50,000 lummens for 4 or less plants at full veg stage. you need to lso regulate your nutes keeping a solid ph of 5.8-6.5 and your nitro at 200ppm to maintain a stong veg growth. when you switch youll need to be around 150,000-200,00 lummens and phos at 200ppm this will stimmulate flower power as i call it. all in all you seem to be doin fine keep up the good work.

Either ur ph is too high causing micro nutrient lockout or u have too much shit in your tap water (or both) and nutes are competing, both will give u the results u are having. To grow successfully with tap is the hardest thing to do. U are growing in soil so it is feasable to go and pick up gallons of RO or distilled water. The PH is 7 and there is no shit in it besides what u put there.
Do this and wait two days, u will see a big difference.

alright thank you for such help that has been given, i will be flushing my plants with good 5.8 ph water.
raising the height of the plant 1 more inch closer to the lights( now 3-4 inches aways) my system throws out about 20,000 lumens and then i have to 42 watt cfl light bulbs in there also to give more lumen output, that puts to about 25,000 lumens and i have 1 more mature plant that is in picture and 4 sprouting plants that seem to be doing fine so far in rockwool if i see problems accumulating i will repost.
it would be a great help to get anymore information from people, it would take me a matter of minutes to get new pictures up if you would request one of something you can not see in the ones i put up previously.
I am not worried to have to pull such plant and just start with new but i would atleast like to know 100%
what i have done wrong so in the future this problem will not occur unless it is my fault.
thank you for your time and knowledge.
With out the growers like us there would never be this miraculous plant we have today that can help so many people, please help me help the cause.
