Y did u transplant them all into one container? R u worried about space? Whenever u want to flower is up to you, if you want to budget the space that u have available, then just figure on them growing 3x veg height over the flowering period. If you don't have enough space for them to grow to 3x their current height, Trying researching LST methods. There was a time I got some indica seeds that had a much faster growth rate then the sativa's I'm more used too. They practically outgrew my growbox in 3 weeks, so I trained the branches using LST (Low Strength Training or Low Stress Training) so that there was a canopy at a height I could handle. It worked get and actually really increased my yield far beyond what I was used too. I found the trip to be even light distribution at all the growing points within the trained canopy.

Is this the thread you wanted me to check out? Your doing fine, just keep an eye on that height. And it is completely up to you, but if it was my grow I would get them the heck out of the same planter. That can cause major problems as they get bigger. And the root mass is a royal bitch to untangle once they flower. L8trz:joint::leaf:

I've flowered as early as 2 weeks from seed b4, all depends on what kinda plant your trying to grow. Flowering at 2 weeks old took 5-6" tall plants and turned them into 18-22" octoplants with 4 main cola's and 4 below that. Like a lil bud bush, memories:)

I have now waited a little longer for my plants to grow and transplanted to a bigger tub which was my problem when that haulted growth. since the transplant, a few leaves have started growing and dying as you can see in the pictures below.. Last night i changed bulbs to start flowering.. from the pictures would you recommend, ive only got about a foot room left in the box.
Also, would you be able to tell me the process exactly i should take if i am right to bud atm. check pictures, give me your feedback.. im a bit lost atm..

thats normal fr aplant to have leaves dying off like that. them are just mostly the big fan leaves any way right. your good to go. grow looks great man keep it up... llookkiinngg ggoodd

ok thanks the feedback guys... my problem is atm, i have no money, i have heaps of plants and they are all about the same health and size, I dont want to really get rid of any, and i cant really make my grow space bigger, i can adjust the light to go another foot higher, that is all, i think it will get crowded but not too bad, although,

If the roots grow to be three times the size, it will get soo crowded, the tub is about 1.5feet high, 2.5 feet long, 1.8 feet wide. theres approz, 45 litres of soil in there...

Also, i have a bug problem.... the photo i have attatched, there are tiny microscopic bugs which are grey in colour, never been there before and they were just on one spot on the soil.. they jump like crazy if u can see them jump.. what is this from? theres litteraealy thousands of them in a tiny area, all came overnight. i also have ants now, tiny tiny brown ones.. they dont look like the flying ones that i mentioned about previously cause i still have a few of them but they dont seem to cause trouble...

I have not used nutes for the veg stage at all.. should i use nutes for bloom? i have Guano SUPERBLOOM liquid concentrate, 100% organic.. its for hydoplonic use..?

please get back to me hopefully i can get all these lonnnnggg anoying questions answers... once again, thanks so much for your time, much apprieciated...

yes but start with 1/4 strength. if you wouldhave been feeding them veg nutes trew the veg cycle you could have jumed right into flower with both feet. after a week or so go full nuts on them with the bloom nutes..

Otherwise, your roots will get all tangled together and it will be IMPOSSIBLE to transplant them without damaging the roots.

ALWAYS plant one seed per pot. ALWAYS.

Ok, will do with the nutes.. thanks. I cnat separate them unless i want to throw out 8 of them and keep 3.. theres just not enough room.. .

Also any feedback about the bugs??? the microscopic ones and brand new and due to something please let me know?

Excuse me for just popping in here but....I have grown in a floor space like this and is is easy to have all those plants in there and in seperate containers. Look at it this way you are using all that tub space to fill with plants and soil and they will root bind together and the plants won't produce much becasue of the binding...they will fight for food.

Now if you transplanted into 1 quart individual square containers, and used that tub as your drip tray your palnts would flurish and produce more even though they have a smaller root mass in that 1 quart of container.

About cutting those roots to seperate them, I trim roots and have vegged plants in the same type of container in the past and had zero problem cutting them apart. Thye do not deal with any more stress than a basic transplant.

Good luck hope this eases things in your mind for U.

Hey Guys, Getting very close to my FIRST GROW!!!!

I will upload some pictures to show what stage they are, They have been through flowering for about 2.5 weeks now, since i changed the bulb..

I know they are crowded in the tub and there roots are probably pretty tangled, there is approx, half a foot square of soil for each plant, the plants are around 2 - 2.5 feet tall.. Should i transfer them into separate pots now, or after they bud? I would rather not bother if they will still grow well as they are because im tight on cash for the next few weeks..

Give me some feedback, let me know what you think and how they are going and also, how long do you think till i can pick them at the finish of budding..???

looks pretty good. they would do a lot better in there own pot.good job keep it up

They are already budding and lookin mighy fine, pretty soon>>>>:eyesmoke:this will be you. Now that they are a couple weeks in, probably not such a good idea to transplant, this is not a good time to induce stress. Might as well just let them finish up.
I have to think gardens when thinking about roots from different plants growing all together like that, and tomato plants do it. I've grown veggies like tomatos, zuccini, and corn none of them had seperate containers and never worried about their roots touching each other, so why worry with pot plants. No reason really...just let those lovlies go and you will be smokin soon.

Hey EVERYONE.....

I have a problem at a very crucial time!

I have put my plants through budding for approximatley 6-7weeks now and they are slowwwly budding.. I have no idea what it should look like or expect, or when they are even ready?

Also, watering plants every 5 days, i also made them stress a little a didnt water for 1 week a couple times... some leaves are brown at the ends due to drying up.. .

Please give me your imput, photos attached..

Hey man, haven't been on in a while. Got ur message and stopped by to check things out. I'm liking what I'm seeing! The leaf thing that u were talking about is perfectly natural at this stage of the life cycle. You are tricking the plant into thinkin its fall, thats what they do in the fall. As far as if it ready for harvest, my opinion at least a couple, maybe 3 weeks to go yet. Not enough crystals or brown hairs yet. You'd have to magnify the trics to be sure with a lighted 10x100 microscope, but if u dont wanna spend money on that a good rule of thumb for me is about 70% brown hairs. And the tricombs should look different, like u poured sugar on it. You know what I mean when you see it. Take a look at some of the harvest photos on here and compare if you need a good reference point. Looking good though, keep it up:bigjoint:

Hey everyone, just an update towards smoking the grow...

I have added pictures. I have chopped the top of one plant off, (the worst Plant) and trimmed it down to buds. Have a look at the buds, its not normal, they look blocky and wierd, and for some reason its a male with seeds. I have another 6 more with seeds and the others dont.

Let me know what you think? 4 days ago i pulled off a little bud and let it dry. Smoked it this morning and it wasnt like potent hydro but it was a clean stoned, not strong but did the trick for a couple hours..??

pics are a litle fuzzy but i say congrads on your own smoke yougrew yourself. that is an acomplishment its self. and no matter how much youget orgot off her it will only improve on your next grow arounds. shit looks good to me.. enjoye

The other 2 are going mint still lush as pics in profile.

This ones leaves have gone a pale green or something and the leaves are folding downwards and are dry and britle.

Rep to anyone who can figure this one out:!: I've searched the net and books and cant come up with a good answer.
I've flushed with no difference and my ph/ppm is correct it may of flucuated a week or so ago tho. i am so close to a great smoke crop! please help:leaf::leaf:
