Okay, so I woke up this morning to my strongest (or at least I THOUGHT strongest) wilting over!! I gave all 5 the same water/nutes mix (I am very anal and mix EXTREMELY precise) but it isnt looking good. Anyone have any idea why it would look this way? Any suggestions on bringin it back to life? Ahh...

Ok...first of all, water only when the soil is dry on top to about an inch in.You're over watering.Second, you're over fertilizing.Only fertilize like every third water.Third, 1/2 cup is not enough for a three gallon pot.You need to wait for the soil to dry, as I said, and then water thoroughly until water begins to drain out of the bottom.
I was watering 1x day with nutes 2x week about 1/2 cup per plant in 3 gal pots

I think you should wait to water a few days. I have found the best time to water is when your pot feels light. Water it untill water comes out your drain holes, then pick it up and remember how heavy it is. You should also fill your pots with dirt.:peace:

I havent watered that one since my original post. i thought to myself I was under watering, just like you said with the 1/2 c. I have upped the water on my others until i see water draining out. The smaller stems are standing back up now!! (YAHHHHH!!!) The larger 7pt leaves are not yet, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. I am going to wait until friday to water that one. Anyone think thats too soon? BTW, big thanks to all your help guys!!

Don't pick a certain day to water, water when your plant needs it. I, like most people, do the finger test. I stick my finger 2-3 inches in and if it feels mostly dry and my pot feels light I water.

I'm sure it sounds like I'm beating a dead horse, but for real, your plants should get water ONLY when they need it not when you decide they should have it. Does that make sense? I feel like I'm rambling

if it helps you, they sell moisture meters at hardware stores. tells you when its dry or damp or wet. if you are having a hard time telling, you should grab one. they're cheap too.

Ok quick update. Some of the smaller leaves have revived!! But...the larger 7pts have completely wilted. So....I clipped them. I figured, what the hell, it may die anyways so why not give it a try. Since then? Growth!!! Yah!! The only thing I may have boo booed on is I topped the plant as well. Think I may have screwed myself? Ive still got 3 that look great. And BTW....they have started to grow MUCH faster. I took everyones advice and slowed on my watering. Boy, it has made a huge difference. Thanks so much :D

So, here she/he is....I topped her about 4 days ago and weeded (lol) out all the sickly leaves. I've been told that they wont grow any taller, just bush out now. Anyone else heard this? But, far as I know, she/he looks healthy. :)
