try using some pure bottled water, not the really cheap kind either. Usually that works well for plants, I used that a LOT on my male that you saw. Root bound: when the roots are 'bound' by the cup/pot size. aka - its too small. I really doubt these plants are root bound in these cups already, but make sure that in about a week you have the pots you are ready to use for the rest of its life. Also you should try a different soil, preferably organic. Regular potting soil and the use of nutrients after it has used up whats in the soil works well also.

oh ok, yea the only reason i'm almost positive it's NOT root bound is b/c i replanted it last week... but who knows? thanks for the tips dialup, i'll definately give those ideas a try. will make changes and post in a few days! peace until then:peace:

Rootbound is when the plants have outgrown their pot, if you take them out the roots will all be in a circle, round and round.....................plant on to larger size with at least 3 inches gap at bottom and sides.
Sorry can't help with other problems, as my plants look a little like yours, but mine are growing in a flush & drain hyrdo unit.
