The Official 3rd Party Cup Grow-Off Registration

Party cups (16oz) Only
Any lights No SUN allowed the masses has spoken
Participants vote on winner
Prize of either LED light (would be of my choosing...or with the help of a sponsor whatever we can work out..Any light companies out there watching that feels like working with me on a prize let me know!!) or something else like maybe [URL="https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-seeds.php"]seeds[/URL] or a prepaid visa. Let me know what you guys think?
Start from seed only.No Clones
12/12 the entire time = No Veg time
Start 5 [URL="https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-seeds.php"]seeds[/URL], keep only 1 by the time sex shows.
Registration Starts 7-17 to 8-17. Then that would give us enough time to finalize all the names entered and create a new thread.
weekly updates mandatory or you're out

I'm sure there's some other things I'm forgetting right now so give me some input guys!

You will probably hear from a RIU moderator on this one. I got a warning about having a grow-off contest and prizes.....neither are allowed on RIU.

Well, considering this is the 3rd one of these party cup grow-offs, I think you're a little late.

Wait a minute.......how the hell are we supposed to go against outdoor growers?.....pray for storm/pest damage:)lol.....obviously their is no exact 12/12 from seed outdoors......I don't like it

outdoor doesnt work coze germination date would have to be now for outdoor and i agree with psuagro here... I am going to party cup a few plants outside anyway just for fun. Good luck everyone entering the comp.

I was suggesting a seperate categorey for outside. Since its that time of the year. That's just as fair as under any light source 400w,600w, 1000w hps. 330w, 860w cmh, 9w - 600w led. 100w- 420w induction. Par t5. Led t8. Christmas lights, candles, oil lamps, etc... or any combo of above. A party cup is a party cup. Its not like it competing againts a 30 gal outside. Plus as hot as it is. Where I'm at plants only get direct sunlight from 5:30 am to 11:00 am. They sit in the shade the rest of the day. They would get burnt up if they didn't. Just like my avaocado planter did.

Nice try..................you know damn well the advantages from using that bright ass fucking star:P...........I'd build a small party cup greenhouse and do it in a heartbeat until the choppers get me.

still don't like it...

^^^^^ I didn't even think about a mini green house. I was planning on shading it with my lavender, Basil, and rosemary and others. Plus I got a 10 gal going out soon. But I have to lst due to short fences.

Sounds Like A Tequila Hang Over With All the Mumbling Going On.Like Green Santa Stated Starting From Seed 12x12 Outside Has Its Challanges And Doesnt Nessarly Mean That The Sun Would Do Any Better.To Be Honest I Think It would Be Very Difficult To Pull Any Serious Weight.However My Brother I Have Diss-Allowed The Use Of The Sun.

You'll see a link on my signature of a "grow-off" me and someone else started with a very small wager. Below is what RIU moderator sent us in a PM:

"hi guys first off
selling, trading , or hooking eachother up with seeds is against riu rules since you are both recently newer members i will let this slide, i had to edit your journal post lilroach as it cannot be known to others that you did that.

So for next time please dont ever put it out on public in riu again this is for rius safety, legally we can be shut down if members are trading ect.
I know members do it but they do it privately and KEEP it private.

Second, contests are not allowed unless approved by the owner of the website, however again I will allow this to go on if and only if there are NO PRIZES but bragging rights involved.
So again i had to remove the bit of 2 seeds from SoS parts

Please understand I am not power tripping I am giving neither of you shit, but I do need to enforce the rules given to me, I am being very fair and allowing this to go on, however we need to down play the whole gifting seeds and we cannot allow you to publicly post about your seed prizes.

I know this really sucks and I am putting a damper on things, but riu can be shut down if we have members who do this kinda thing, because mj , seeds and other equipment is still considered illegal in some parts we need to have a site that is only dedicated to growing purposes but never to have the intention of selling, contests, prizes, hook ups, gifting, trading, whatever you wanna call it

After reading it again, they were more concerned about seeds being a prize....so you guys may be fine.

No....it wasn't my explanation of the rules, I copy and pasted a PM from the site's moderator. I'm not here to mess with your grow off.....I will probably follow this as it would be interesting to see how big of a plant can be grown in a party cup.
