A-51's: Multi-Strain; Multi-Lights

I have a small perpetual grow going with Photo's. I was experimenting with Auto's but I like to force my will on plants and Auto's do not like that at all. I am also a super cropper and love to top and top and top. I believe in quality over quanity but still try to make the most out of my space.

Tents: (2) 3x3 Jardins and (1) 2x4 Jardin

Lights: A-51's: (1) 240, (1) 220, (1) 135, (1) 90

Pot's: Super Pots 5 gal

Medium: Vermi soil and Vermi fire

Ferts: Marine Cuisine, Organicare Pure Bloom

Strains: Blue Pyramid; AK/Yumbolt; Tangerine Dream; Liberty Haze; LSD; Black Russian

I let the plants veg as long as it takes the bottom branches to grow even with the tops. I will bend and train the tops as needed while waiting for the bottoms to catch up. I have been waiting until after 10-12 nodes before topping but am now starting to lower that to 6-8 nodes. Not sure which I prefer just yet.

The first pic is showing off the TD. It's about to start it's fourth week of flower and is just now starting to come on. The 2nd pic is the Blue Pyramid. I took a few of the top nodes off about a month ago and am left with just bottom branches. The 3rd is the AK/Yum. I lost half the plant about a month ago when a filter fell on it. Yeah... half. It would have been a monster. Kind of glad it happened for the sake of the room. The 4th is a pic of them all.

The 5th pic is a pic of the Lib Haze, LSD, and Black Russian. They just got switched over to 12/12. The LSD stands 38" tall 24" wide and 32" long and is in the front.

Thanks Psuagro. Yeah first time with the Marine Cusine and I am really liking it. I was a sheep to the nute world for too long. I started out using cow manure and bone meal many years ago with success then let myself get caught up in the nute craze the past several years. A couple of guys I know have used Marine for years and have had some good luck so I switched and am very very happy. I have been foliar feeding with Organicare Seaplex and Fulvex. I add Humega with the previously mentioned additives with my water about once every two weeks.

The BP and AK will be finished in about 4 weeks and I will let the TD have the entire 3x3 to finish. I am cautiously hopeful that she will be worth the wait as I am planning for a 14 to 16 week flower.

Just a few updates on the grow. The first pic are clones of LSD, Lib Haze, and Black Russian. The second pic is a pic of the young ones that I am picking through. I have two Blue Pyramids, 2 AK/Yum, 2 TD's, and a few others. The third pic is a Tangerine Dream that I am playing with. Topped it at the first node. My goal is to get more yeild out of shorter plants.

The fourth pic is the LSD, Lib, and Black Russians finishing their first week of 12/12.

The fifth pic is of my 220 and 135. I was wondering if anyone knows the watts of both lights. I was under the impression that the 220 (2x4) was around 230 watts while the 135 (2x3) was under 200 watts. I have read some journals that say the 135 is around 250 watts. Anyone know for sure? Just curious more than anything.

Thanks Dawg. Holy cow does that open my eyes. I never thought it threw out that much power. I might have some overkill going on then. Thanks for watching and the kind words. This is truly all about love. Nothing makes me feel better than working in the garden. One of my favorite things to do is to lay under the canopy and just look up... it seems make all my worries and frets go away.



Here are some new pics. The Tangerine Dream is looking really good and healthy. I am hoping she develops like the breeders say she should. Seems like so many bad write ups on the plant but I am wondering if people harvested it early and didn't wait for it to finish. It says a 70 day flower but there is no way that is possible with the Haze in it.

How do I erase these attached thumbnails? I have not wanted any of the thumbnails. It was an attempt to cut the pics totally.

Thanks. I should have named this journal Jungle Love. The stretch on the Lib Haze and LSD caught me off guard so I am starting to bend the biggest branches. I am having to take the filters down from the ceilings in order to put the lights higher.

The AK/Yum and Blue Pyramid can not finish fast enough because the TD is wanting to take the room over now.

These Area 51's are producing better end product than another guy in my communities 2 (1000) set ups. There are other factors that are causing this, and love is one of them, but I think he defoliates way too much during the flower and his end product shows. Lack of patience is another problem. It's amazing the difference a week makes sometimes.

Holy shit just noticed that your growing Blue pyramid !!! I had issue with their Anubis strain, but damn to your girls look awesome, so the hype is justified on the BP.

PSUAGRO: Thanks. I was really excited about trying the Blue Pyramid. It has been very interesting as I have had to take the top and first 3 nodes out of it. Just too big. The other interesting thing with this plant is that it's had (I am lacking technical vocab) 3 branches growing from most nodes. I think the correct word is Poly... something (my etymology teacher would not be impressed). This really threw me off at first because there were soo many leaves. Once I started looking I figured out why.

I germ'd two seeds and they both popped. I kept one and gave another to a friend. He has harvested his already and says it's a keeper strain. He rolls his and said the first two hits made his head tingle so he put it out for an hour or so. Went back and took about four more hits before he had to put it out. Said he started tripping a bit with sweats. I went down to see for myself but didn't get the same experience. Nothing fruity or sweet about what he had. His vegging period was about 2 weeks or so and he harvested just over a half ounce. To each their own but I think he could have waited a bit longer for the harvest.

I worked with their Galaxy last year and really liked it. It was just as advertised... vigorous. Such an interesting smell and taste. Not too strong but a pleasure to enjoy. I am looking for a blue and thought this would be an interesting strain. Since I had such good luck with the Galaxy I thought I would give it a go. I would like to give that Tutankhamen a try too.

Well Rippn, I think the same as you, the love is the more important ingredient in a growroom, so as long as you care and love your plants they will get you what you deserve, and i realize they are giving you their full potential! Supercropping always makes me exited, the colas from the branches that were bend always look stronger and bigger.

Do you have some favourite strains you can recommend me, i love euforic and uplifting highs, i dont like gettin consumed by the couch hahaha
Im just in my third grow, i have grow Big Buddhas Quasar and Dinafem White Widow and Critical + (both dinafems didint like them at all), but Quasar's was my first and i reaaaaaaaaaaally loved it, one bong ripp and lets the party started, but the other one nothing. (Im a little bit strong head know, i have to take 2 or 3 bong hits before light a joint with my girl to be high hahaha XD but i need some good strains to beat this)

I have for my next grow Barneys Farm Acapulco Gold and Medical Seeds Malakoff (i have them already one of each)

I'm excited to hear how that Tangerine Dream smokes, I recently got my hands on a really gnarly tangerine-smelling indica and loved it, but alas did not get the name.

Thanks. You are a big reason I am trying LSD. You have said some really good things about it and I appreciate your posts. I try to keep my lights higher than 16" for flower and go all the way to 24" for veg. I have found that the higher they are the better the all around growth.

Thanks mamakush... love the name. The tangerine is the reason for this Journal. I think Pet Flora said that he likes to do what people say can't be done with grows. That's the way I feel about the Tangerine. So much hate on that plant and Barney's. I am hoping that this thing turns out to be the shit. A guy I know in the hills of CO grows this and has been raising all kinds of stink. Some of my closest friends have said that this reminds them of the old G from the late 80's. I had to give it a try. I am at 6 weeks now with 8-10 to go. Hopefully this water issue can get dealt with so I can keep her going. It's the only one out of them all I really don't want to cut. The rest grow fast and are easy to replace. The TD has too much love in it.

Thanks. I have been into the indicas and couch-lock for the past few years but this Tangerine is bringing me back to the sativa's and searching for energy. I had a good run with Cannadential from DNA a few years ago. I used it for the morning and daytime stuff. The Galaxy by Pyramid is a pretty good energy strain for me too. The third would be good old Bubble Gum. I am biased towards bubble gum but time has proven it to be very popular. On my to grow list is the Black Label Neville's Haze, Barney's Utopian Haze, and Barney's Honey B.
