What is the best highest quality mh/hps bulbs made.

Im looking for the highest quality hps bulb for my 400 watt fixture.
I just want to know im giving my plants the best light possible.
Any suggestions on a brand name would be helpful.
I have searched around but would like an opinion from somebody on RIU.Thanks!

Wrong section. Hortilux blue mh is the best for veg and flower but most expensive. Plant max is coming out with a full spectrum hps soon. For hps right now. Digilux has the best spectrum. They are the cheapest on amazon.

Buy the ones at home depot.........saw no MAJOR difference to justify the $100 bulb price with horti's.........the best bulb I've used are cmh(retrowhite/ saw a MAJOR difference) but only run on mag ballast for now..............good luck

I suggest you look into CMH (Ceramic Metal Halide),The Philips MasterColor CMH Retro Whites have been getting some excellent reviews, check out these threads:
