Flushing salt out of soil on weekly basis

Just watched this video on youtube.

yes its a common practice its good to do this so nutrients dont get locked up.

So how is this done?

Do you flush through with lots of fresh water then wait a day or 2 before watering again with fertilizer?

well you dont want to flush when they are small because they cant take up the water fast enough.once there about a foot tall you can flush them by watering with pure water with no nutes and you water heavy and let it drain out the bottom.some people water once a day nutes in the morning and flush later in afternoon,also take in mind this was outdoor pots.
