Stuck Tent Zipper

Hi all,

Has anyone had to deal with a stuck zipper on their grow tent? The zipper has gotten stuck in the yellow part of the tent, and I have no idea how to get it to budge. Any tips?

I got my junk stuck in my zipper in a similar fashion. I just used a peening hammer and pounded it out of the zipper teeth. It hurt like hell for a bit, probably could have handled it differently but there I was.

You can buy zipper wax in the "better" dive shops, it's sold for Dry Suite zippers, of just use a candle.

Duh, the needle nosed pliers did the trick. Sorry for the dumb question. I'm new to the forum and haven't gotten the best welcome, so maybe it's not for me. Thanks for the tip!

get your mom to do it with her teeth, she unzipped my pants no problem
Really? And you thought this rude, juvenile contribution necessary because...?

The zipper on my grow tent used to get stuck in certain areas in a similar fashion, especially where the fabric overlapped. All I had to do to get it unstuck was pull the zipper back and remove what was jamming it. Some occasions were more difficult than others, but now the tent is broken in and this has not occurred.

Thank you! I think part of the problem is that it's a cheap tent, as the zipper seems to be constantly getting stuck. Oh well :wall:

(And yes, in hindsight, it was a dumb question)

I found this, can someone tell me what i should do with it, where does it go.

Seriously you troll, just go away. You're of no use to this thread. I was simply asking for a method to pull the canvas out of the zipper and got my helpful answer. Leave me alone troll.

Back the zipper out of the jam. If you have never done manual labor or you just are not into that whole get off the couch thing this may be difficult. Try this product, google "real magic". Its a lubricant. It also work great if you ever get your baby stuck in a pipe. Never leave home without it!

The people on this forum are so unbelievably rude and immature.
Humm... that's a good trick...

  • The people on this forum suck.
    Some of us Blow...

Come on man... it's a F/N zipper, how many times have you used a zipper? Do you own a zipper coat? Pants? WTF...
You have never got one stuck before now? It's a ZIPPER.... You pull it one way to close.... if you pull slowly this stuck thing will not happen again... Pull it the opposite way that you close it...and it might become unstuck....
