ive been looking for a cheap light mover since i was last using an indoor room, although Im not using any indoor grow rooms now I thought this might help anyone who is.
Finally an affordable light mover!
I just saw this chain driven design, and its a lot cheaper than most movers out there (like all the ones I see @ $225 a pop)

Hydrofarm Light Track from 4 hydroponics.com by Growco Indoor Garden Supply

The Hydrofarm Light Track slowly moves your grow light fixture back and forth along its 4-foot length, providing a more even level of brightness throughout the plants.
Travel time from one end to the other is about 13-1/2 minutes.
The movement of a grow light also helps eliminate shadows between plants to encourage even growth throughout your garden.
The 4' Hydrofarm Light Track provides a simple, yet effective method of operation. Using a Swiss-made motor, the light bracket is chain driven from one end the metal rail to the other. After a slight hesitation, the direction reverses.
All installation hardware is included. We recommend lubricating the inside of the (rail) track grooves every 90 days to maintain smooth operation.

1 year warranty

thank you, it's impossible (almost I guess) to find a light mover under 200.

shit man, Ive been able to invent one before I could find a cheap one. Ive been looking for almost 2 years and ive just ran across this one today.
I searched that specific brand and found severall under $125 but this one was still the cheapest one that I could find.
Looks like it would be relatively easy to rig up a bar to it so that you could run 2 lights on this 1 mover as well...
I figured this would double most peoples grow areas with the cost of about what another light would cost someone(actually another light would be cheaper but the electrical cost would be over triple that by the end of one grow).

nice price....but FUCK that dude.

terrible bad ass customer service.
he doesnt honor his word.
false advertisement: he advertises price match and beating others prices....but this is not true!

you all have been warned!

there were plenty other sites sellign this brand of movers for under $125.
You talking bout the site or the builder of the product having bad service?
Im willing to take your word but if it works for 1 grow itd be worth $100 to me, that add hella space brotha.

He means the website, they are notoriuos for being shady fuckers!!!

so that means anyone that is thinking of ordering a light mover like this should copy and paste the brand name (of that light mover in the ad above ) into Google and find another store that has em. I saw several for $125 or less, but this site had them for the cheapest(thankfully lb had your info on that shitty supply shop)

No you can still get it from them just got to remember that they are notoriuos fuckers.

They still ship out and what not. Still in business to make money.

Just less likely to speak english or help if something goes wrong.
(the english part is TRUTH not racism, I am not Racist)

id rather pay $20 bucks more to the people that can help me if something goes wrong myself but i know some folks cant spare the extra $.
Thats why i didnt have one of the $200 mofos in my room.
twenty bucks aint much for English speaking help though. I guess we know what the American language is worth now...:cuss:

true, but what if it gets there and the motor burns out in 2 weeks? I dont speak any other languages other than English and some Latin. If they dont know English, Do you think they can communicate with me in Latin to arrange my warranty return?

Here's where i got mine at for $99 shipped for the 6ft models, the 4 ft models would have been cheaper.

hydroponics

I bought 4 of them  & they shipped fast.

One big caveat, the motors on these movers are little shittin ass things, they do the job & they do it very well but they are not what i consider heavy duty,im sure that if i had it to do over again i'd buy the heavy duty models with adjustable travel & speed.
