fluorescent fixture

Seedless, this is my plan. I just moved the clones out from under the dome and up close to the CLFs (1"). I am going to watch them this evening for signs (good or bad). If all goes well, I will replant them with Ocean Forest before the weekend.

As Perlite weighs almost nothing, how large of a bag of Perlite do I mix in with the 20lb bag of Ocean Forest? About the same size (volume) as the 20lb bag of Ocean Forest?

Woah!! LOL the bag of perlite I use is only 8qts. So I guess I should of stated this: Mix 8qt perlite to one 20lb of FF Ocean Foerst.

Sorry for the confusion....

Friends are cool.... ;)

SO here the next question. Should I repot my sick girls in the new mixture or leave them alone?

lol depends on what kind of shape they are in. it will help to transplant using this soil, rather than MG. I tried and did not see enough difference to waste good soil. (remember I used MG my first grow too and then transplanted using FF) Just remember that soil is pricey. And you always end up running out!! I spent 200 bucks go around on soil alone.

Dewd, I have 3 plants and 5 clones. ;) Granted, I have spent over $500 in the last two months on this "project" or as my GF calls it, obsession. Not that I am rich, but I am not going to skimp now.

I suspect I will leave the current ones in the soil in which they are currently. The new clones will move to FF in a few day when they are ready.

I just pulled them from under the humidity dome a few hours ago and put them very close to the CFLs. I just checked them and they look happy (enough). I misted them with water with a little nutes. We will see how they looking the morning. If you remember I pulled them from my dying girls and flipped them from 12/12 to 24.
