First attempt at a SCROG late start

So I have decided to attempt SCROG style. They are about 5 days into flowering and the were getting a little too stretchy... did a little bending/supercropping to make them fit. Some of them kinda split when I bent them, but I tapped 'em up. hope they will be ok. what do you think? how does everything look? 6 plants in there by the way

Dude .. your not too late at all... get a net with bigger holes.. (the leaves wont make it easy on you ).. and when you install the net go ahead and bend them down and plan where your going to want the growth... if where you are wanting to bend feels like its going to snap... pinch it a little first..and then bend.. Umm.. oh yeah optimally you want thenet 10 inches above the Dirt/pebbles.... Check mine out.... and i hope you can tame the ladies better than me... i wasnt able to get too many bends in before i ran out of room.... 1 bud site per hole man..... good luck

thanks again for the info. I just got a roll of the 1" chickenwire and it was all I could find. so I'm going to stick with that. seems like it will be ok.

here is a new picture of my scrog. the branches are coming through the screen pretty well. I am hoping some of the tiny ones at the base of the plant start to stretch to the screen

yes indeed! 2 of them are sativas, so they are stretchy anyway. Makes it very difficult to tame them when they grow an inch or two every night. I'm getting the hang of it though. Amazing how many more bud sites you get with scrog

Hey hey, just stopped by to check out your grow.

Everytime I see a new method i wanna try it ahhh!! It's ok...I have plenty of time...plenty more crops to come..I haven't even made it through my first! Haha

So next time is aero sog lollipops like we discussed and then after that I think I might have to try aero scrog...Ah I can't wait.

Ill be keeping an eye on this one to see how it turns out for you. Im a sucker for bud porns =)

I don't wanna hi-jack your thread but here is a little update on my grow! Just a few....welll 8...pics that I took this morning before the lights when off :blsmoke:

Ok this is only day 4 of flowering so not much going on yet. Just two plants showing a little somethin somethin. One looks more male, the other more female.

hehehe... thread jacking.. so those look nice... i see the fans and clips doing good...(i wouldnt put the fans pointing down though...) i would also recommend a bigger fan... check out my cab... i use those fans for the little cab up top... and under the plants and the sides..blowing hot air up ... but to blow air over the tops get the 12 dollar clip fans at wallymart... they are 6 inches ..... anyway my input good luck

the one on the right is a 90% sativa thai variety and it is a stretchy little bastard. the stem got a little burnt from the light, so I'm waiting for it to heal before I weave the tall bastard in the screen.

thanks for the suggestions. the fan normally hangs a little lower and blows air over the surface of the lightbulb in an upward direction, but I was messing with the light yesterday when i took that picture, trying to get it closer to the canopy. going to put a fan at the bottom, blowing air up, like you suggested. thanks!

nah you aren't hi-jackin, no worries. very nice lookin plants! very compact and bushy! very healthy looking too. from the pics I don't see any signs of sex yet. I hope you get all ladies!
I think it's funny we all have the same fan!
