Ok so here is my setup a 4'x2'6"x3 ' wooden armour chest that ive converted to a grow box lined with insulated reflective board from home depot.i have some mylar if thats better..... So far one vent hole in the bottom corner of the back "wall" of box...and one on the "roof" of box. I have a 90w UFO LED red/blue. Will be using Northern Lights and Northern Lights x Big Bud ...both Autoflowers and will be grown in greenfields soil in 11 quart plastic buckets (1 quart shy of a 3 gallon pot).. a 4"x8" 100% Virgin Activated Carbon Filter with a Pre-Filter and a 4" Inline Air Blower Fan rated at 180cfm are on the way and will exhaust into the attic..one small fan is in the bottom intake hole and one small oscilatting fan will be used for the ladies...right now im running 75-80 degrees F with only the small intake running ..... my questions are: do i need or should i use more light? if yes..is it ok to mix some cfls in there or should i just go with another 90w ufo led or some smaller wattage LED's from home depot? will the carbon filter and fan do the trick for smell.? is the fan rated too high for the box?....what light cycle should i start with? what should i end with? from what ive heard its not good to top them as autos cycle too fast..and ive read that LST isnt that great either...so im guessing no scrogging autos?... how about c02 ..i was thinking of the yeast/sugar/water setup? Any tips or advice will be appreciated thanks

Hi there, I'm subscribed. I’m not a cannabis grower but Ilike to grow many different things and I have been lurking around for a whilewith envy. With that said I would rather be in the back seat for this grow andallow the others to guide you to success although if you still want my advice Iwill help where I can.

Thanks Curiousity..... my journal will begin in the next day or 2 ...i will drop the link in this thread when i start it. here are some pics of the cabinet...hopefully this entice some viewers to give me opinions and advice.....on another note..why does "enter" not work for me when trying to lines things up so they arent all together like this post? cabinet.jpgcabinetinside.jpg

I haven’t posted any pic yet but if it’s similar to other forums, when you insert the pics and the highlighted or underlined words associatedwith your picture appear, move them out of the sentence by placing the cursor where you would want then to appear.
Simply hit enter a couple of times to give it the space it needs.

Here is a test

I used the insert image tool to add the pictures but I’m having trouble using the manage attachment tool, which you would most definitely need if you’re goin to upload a bunch. I’ll try later.

Yea if your using autos I'd just let them grow as is. Any other though I would scrog or train them as my led doesn't penetrate as well as hids, which is my only complaint with using LEDs so far

They look similar to my 90watters. Light patterns are the only visible difference, just makes me wonder what angle lenses they have and what wattage LEDs each diode is.

These are 1watt diodes..i do know they make 2 and 3 watt diodes..as far as the color patterns go they are rated by the number of EATCH color diode in the light.....example..the second one i bought in the second link is 70-10-5-5- ..70 1watt red diodes , 10 1watt blue diodes ,5 orange diodes and 5 white diodes =90w ..... the first UFO i bought was 80 red diodes and 10 blue=90 ...from what ive have researched the LED's with more blue diodes are for veg....more red are for flower ...You can check the specs on most of theamazon lights too :: ULTI-LUMENX UFO 90 X 1watt Color: Red/Blue /Orange/White(630-660 nm Red,460 nm Blue.612 orange),Fast growth - big blooms, buds and flowers. Hmmm they sound pretty legit, can't wait to see their results. My fans don't have a thermostat which is good for cooling but bad for being stealth
