Ok first off I'd like to say I'll be running 6 different strains to start, but I got 11 more seedlings in the process of becoming new mom's.
The list of strains are:
Blue Dream, Master Kush, Afghan x White Widow, AK47, Grapefruit, Venus Kush.
On the way I have Sour Diesel, Sage N' Sour, Lemon OG(2 versions), Kandy Kush, HeadBand Kush, Og Kush, OG #18, Diablo Kush, and Fire OG clone 'X' Arcata Trainwreck BX|| lol thats the best I could find for roman numerals lol. Ima bout to do 5 clones of the afghan, ak47, grapefruit, and venus to test out for their first time. I also have more seeds I wanna pop, but for now those are it.
I've been growing the BD and master for a couple runs now. So I got them dialed in pretty good.
The medium I'm using is coco, or cocofiber, whatever you wanna call it..
I'll be running 80 Plants and harvesting every 2 weeks with 20 plants. It's so basically if everything turns out good I won't have to smoke the same exact weed for another 45 weeks because I'll be rotating each strain every 2 weeks, instead of taking a couple cuts every 2 weeks from every single mother. Which would end up inflicting more damage on the mothers IMO. Not only that but it'll give each mother a very long breathing peroid to get nice bushy clones so I may even be able to cut down on veg. BTW I'll be vegging for max of 3 weeks. I want to get it down to 10 per week but that also depends on the harvest I'm getting of each strain.
For now I'll run just 2x1000's only because its positioned so perfectly I think 3 would be a over kill, unless their spread out more, but right now thats not necessary.
I'm running a 15,100 btu window ac unit, works beautiful with just 1x1000 right now. Probably kicks on for 2 minutes every 15 minutes. so running for about 8 minutes out of an hour. REALLY saving on electricity with this B.
I promised my buddy I wouldnt blab about my nutes on this run because I changed it to his prefered brand.. It'll be my first run with it so I hope it's not a waste of a gang of money. I was using Advanced before and I was gettin really good results with it. Any who... ON TO THE PICTURES!!

You should hang your filter. Will help with heat and airflow also, and keep it away from humidity(carbon filter killer)

Looks really cool so far!

I dont have a light meter or whatever to find out how many lumens the back plants are getting.. What kind of question is that anyways lol. As for the carbon filter, the humidity in the room is about 30% at all times, so it won't matter where it goes. On that end thou it tends to make a circular vortex in the room, plenty of air movement. Soon I'll throw it under one of the benches or next to the door under the ac unit, reason being Id rather stick the filter next to the door for the least amount of chance to smell the goods ..
Also it's fall right now so all I do is kick on my ac unit for up to 8 minutes an hour, heat isnt an issue what so ever. And with the fan on the ground it shoots the hot air from the bulb straight up.

I'm just curious. It looks like you put a lot of thought into it. I've never considered raised platforms on either side with a vertical light. With a horizontal, light is reflected so it increases foot candles. How does the vertical effect light candles, that is my question. Great design though. I'm now considering platforms with yoyos attached to all 4 corners so I can raise or lower them

From my understanding with hoods, the light on the top of the bulb has to bounce off the reflector above then bounce back, which ends up loosing lumens not adding it. But I'd imagine that the lumens will be evenly dispersed except the corners won't be gettig the same. Using a digilux bulb, says it produces 155,000 lumens.

IMO that's part of the reason why my buds turn out as beautiful as they do, I just threw my bd mom in with flower. She a 54" bitch super tall, i hope she don't double in size my room won't support it. Kinda funny cause I've grown this mom in the same bucket for 2 years, and it's only 2 gal. But she's ready to be flowered n smoked. I hope I get around a qp alone off her.

Ok so I went threw n watered everything, for 40 plants took me around 20 25 minutes, so I'm assuming in full production it'll take around an hour to water everything. Im also about to take more cuts today, I'll be doing grapefruit, Venus, ak47, and the afghan kush 'x' white widow. I'm gonna do 5 cuts of each to give me a rough estimate of how much it yields average, and the quality of the strain, if it doesn't meet my personal standards I'll give it one last chance to shine, then I'll dump the strain. With 17 strains gettin ready to be moms. I obviously will need to figure out which ones are super dank. I got the co2 an everything installed, an I'm just finishing up Insulation today, also sealing the door jams with foam for an air tight fit.

The mom, honestly isn't too beautiful, lol It had some branches that were too tall so I super cropped them down. An also I had to throw a tomato cage around it because of how unstable she became. I'll post some tonight.

I am amazed at your setup! Now I have to ask, does running the light vertical like that instead of in a hood give you better results? +Sub on this. I would like to see how running my 600 watt HPS light out of the hood and vertical in a 4’ x 4’ x7’ tent would do. You just gave me an idea of something to try out….

Looks awesome! Subbed.

It looks like your room is self-contained? The filter just pulls air from and pushes it into the same area? I didn't realize smell would be a problem in a self-contained room but now that I think about it, it makes sense.

Ive seen a "heath" set up with one 600 hitting on average 38 oz per harvest. Which is fuckin insane! It's a slightly different design, more circular. But still yields great. This is my first run with this system so I have o idea what to expect on yields. Hoping in the neighborhood of 2-3 p's per 2-3 weeks.

Yeah the room is completely sealed. That's why I'm stubbing the smell on the inside, because if I don't it'll slowly build up.

I think you could, I notice it's not as hot without the hood either. With your set u, you could just drop it right in between all 4. IMO you would be using more of the light, probably get a better yield. But that's my opinion.
