Its been a few years since I've visited rollitup. I figured I should come back and share some of the knowledge I have gained over the last three years I've spent in the trenches. I remember coming here as a n00b as far back as six years ago and just getting into the game. I had so many questions and what answeres were available online were and still are, sketchy at best. There is a lot of talk from armchair growers who talk all kinds of shit and masquerade as good growers when really they're just punks who like to play internet know-it-all's. People ask me where to get good information on growing and i tell them "anywhere but online!". People are still arguing over cfl's, black lights and if LED's are actually worth it. If you leave the internet and go to your grow store and just talk shop with employees as well as customers you will get real world advise from real world people who can show you real world results. Then you at least know who's full of shit and who isnt.

In the coming months this flower room will be filled by 16 beautiful cuttings of Golden Goat created by Mr. Dank but for now we will start with just 4 plants while I cut clones to fill the rest of the room.

This setup both equipment and nutrients has been refined over and over for the last 3 years to its current form. It started out with an organic soil grow and low and behold I have ended up where I started. I have taken it from organic to soiless to hydro and back again. This system will produce some of the biggest yields for your dollar and your work involved with the added benefit of being organic. I have been very succesful at all my grows be they hydroponic or soil but I have been on a quest to develop a system that anyone of any skill level could pick up and produce large yields with relative ease while maintaining cost effeciency.

Also, Nice setup! I've heard great reviews of Golden Goat. Check our R3dband on youtube, pretty popular and that's what they have most of the time =)

Hahaha

Nothing like bashing the internet on the internet ;)
I'm just trying to do my part to give CORRECT information to the masses. I just saw a thread where someone was telling a grower its fine for your room to be at 85F. There's nothing quite like seeing the blind lead the blind.

So withought further adue allow me to introduce my girlfreinds.

These shots are a nice progression from them being clones in solo cups to the stunners they are today. flowering starts in 2 days when they are moved to the flower room. excuse the slightly messy veg room atm. it got a little cluttered during the flower room reconstruction and I only have 2 of the 8 t5's hanging at the minute because thats all i need forthe moment. (same equipment, i just repositioned the ducting.)

vegged for 4 weeks with no nutrients just 1 feeding per week of algen extract, roots excelurator, CaMg+, amino treatment and every other week mayan microzyme. plain water in between, roots 707 does the rest.

for some reason the attachments might be out of order. :\

It is perfectly fine for your room to be 85 degrees as long as your CO2 levels can accomodate. As a matter of fact, your plants won't even be able to utilize higher levels of CO2 if your temperatures are not above 80. Weed plants experience 85+ degree temperatures all the time in nature. Jorge Cervantes mentions in his book in regards to temps and CO2 levels says that 95 is the upper threshold for temperature in a CO2 supplemented room (1500ppm). We run consistently at 85-89 degrees in a 1500ppm environment with absolutely no ill effects.

unfortunately this person was not running c02. had that been the case, your right, 85f would be fine. under the circumstances though, that advice could kill a whole crop or at the least cause hermie's. non co2 room should strive to be 75 with a humidity of 40% at all times. yeilds go up, buds are denser and powdery mildew will never show up

I think I was pretty clear that CO2 was required to run at 85 degrees or higher. I didn't give any advice of going and running the heat up without CO2. Your statement was that having temps at 85 was not legitimate and that the information was the blind leading the blind, but that's specific to a non-supplemented room.

You are correct, a room without co2 supplementation should stay around 72-75.
