Introducing Nitrogen in flowering?

Ok so I have two northern lights going their prolly around 5 weeks away from being done. I am using differnt nutes on the two and one has significatly less nitrogen then the other. Well one of the plants the leaves are all turning yellow which I know is good. but Im wondering if my leaves are gonna all yellow out and die before it's harvest time. Is this a problem? SHould I throw a little N in the mix or let it drain out and go?

5 weeks out a nitrogen deficiency like that is NOT good. Use a bloom fert like FF tiger bloom or botanicare pro blend bloom that has some nitrogen, but not more than phosphorous. The ratio is like 2-5-4. Most ppl seem to think any nitrogen in flower is bad, this is not so. The plants still need some nitrogen, but always try to keep more phosphorous ions than nitrogen ions. If you need a quick burst of nitrogen, just water your soil with plain water, it releases a shit ton of nitrogen that was previously insoluble in the soil. I know this because i OD'ed my flowering ladies on nitrogen by trying to "flush" the soil lol. It in turn caused a worse problem because it released about 700 ppm of nitrogen.

sure you can but be very carefull on amount your goin to use
IMO i would suggest getting cal mag and adding that as a suppliment i have added it now on all my flowering stages and there green till harvest

Yea on the one plant Im using the FF trio. on the other is kinda an experiment and the flowering stuff I'm using is 0-18-16. It's not bad yet but I can def tell a difference in color between the two and it's only a matter of a week before the bottom ones start turnin pale yellow and fall off.

Good info thanks guys. Instead of changing my fertilizer I may try and to accomodate it. I will look into the cal/mag thanks!
