My double strawberry diesel grow!!!

Hello all this grow will be in an attic and is my first experiance growing double strawberry diesel hoping for a great pheno.....Seeds are from Rezdog.....

placed a few seeds in the paperplate method using superthrive and h2o to keep the seeds soaked for 24-48hrs.....and wala had 2 sprout within 24hrs........off they went into 16 oz beer cups with a mixture of foxfarms oceanforest soil with 1part scotts perlite and 1part scotts vermiculate for extra drainage....cups went under 4 t-12 fluro tubes 24in long with mixed spectrum bulbs half cool and half warm......considering its an attic my worries are the cool temps and low humidity during this time of year....which a day ago humidity readings were very low about 30% and temps were in the mid 60's had to run out and purchase the warm spectrum bulbs for extra heat and a humidifier to raise the humidity levels inside my vegg cab....now my readings are 80 to 85% humidity and temps are around 73 to 75 deg....checking the cups today didnt really see any sprouts as of yet but hopefully within a day or so they will show...lol.... I also sprouted some basil, mint and cilantro to mix things up a bit....Im trying my best to keep this grow entirely organic so my list of nutes for vegging and flowering will be as follows.......for vegging

1. earth juice grow
2. superthrive (not organic but great stuff)
3. biobizz alga-mic (coldpressed liquid sea kelp)
4. earth juice natural ph up and down
5. botanicare liquid karma
6. botanicare cal/mag plus if needed
7. earth juice micro blast (trace minerals)

flowering nutes as follows

1. biobizz bloom
2. biobizz topmax
3. liquid karma
4. biobizz alga-mic
5. unsulphered molasses if needed for late flowering

Here are some pics of the vegging cab with the herbs and dsd cups:hump:

tag, you're it :p

hiya babes, how are they doing? any dirt broken yet?

Hey Kp thanx for the love :-P.....lol.....Still waiting for these babies to break dirt......nothing as of today....I switch the lights to 24 hrs of daylight....so lets see what happens...will update tommorow on conditions.... love CM

Ps....I hear these babies could either smell like a field of strawberries with a hint of some sour in them or can smell like sour diesel....What ever the case serious odor control will most likely be mandatory for them....:hump:

Ok guys here is a little update for today......Went this morning to be congradulated by both diesels breaking soil and showing life........Oh yeah im happy.....lol.....on another note due to it being winter and very cold in my part of the country I had to make a trip and add 4 cfls of 40w each in the warm spec to raise my temps more.....my readings this morning were mid 60's with the new bulbs it raised the temps to upper 70's....so it was a plus......Will monitor closely just to make sure the temps dont get any higher than that if so I will replace maybe 1 or 2 of the cfls to lower them a bit.....other than that all is well.......Thanks CM.....

Ok guys just a little update with the little seedling all three have grown a bit and the first set of true leaves have started to show......lol...had one of the seeds emerge from the soil with the entire helmet on and did not want to let go of the damn hard hat....so I had to perform some delicate surgery to remove the hat.....now she is growing fine....lol....

Alright time for a small update guys......Well im into day 10 of seedling stage and the Strawberry Diesel plants are looking pretty lovely.....they have grown 2 sets of true leaves and have responded pretty well to the foxfarms ocean forest soil....I was worried that the soil would of been to hot for them but they seem to love it.....pics later tonight if I can find my damn camera.........lol......

I happen to be searching the internet for similar interests and came across this great journal. Coincidentally, I happen to be growing the same strain. I am a fairly new grower and have successfully finished 2 other strains. So, while I sure am in no position to offer any advice (you seem quite prepared), I may be able to offer some help with what to expect.
I have 5 plants all started from Res seeds which are currently in 60 of veg. I am out of town on business right now and I am also waiting to clear some space in my flower room for them. Hence, day 60, I am in no hurry to flower them and I am not in a time crunch.
I am not trying to hijack your thread, just offering a fellow grower with the same strain a person to compare with. So, for comparison purposes, your plants look fantastic and they are consistent with how mine looked at that stage.
I also am using Foxfarm OF, started in cups. They are currently in 3 gallon bags and up to day 60 they have required very light nutes. I did not start feeding them said nute until the beginning of week 4. Prior to that they received some voodoo juice, carbo load and seaweed extract only. They were also started on a very week foliar feed of colossal bud blast at week 3 1/2.
No, I am not an AN salesmen. I use floranova for the veg fert. I started with 300 ppm and have since raised to 500 ppm or so.
So, I am not offering expert advice, I'm a noob. But I can tell you somewhat about what these girls can handle. I will post a current pic if you like and give you more details about my setup, but as I said, I don't want to hi-jack your thread. Good luck with the ladies!!

Hey grimm welcome to the site and thanx for giving advice on what you have experianced so far with your girls......Very much appreciated brother....I would love to see some pics of your girls too if you dont mind....I was originally going to go with A.N nute line but went organic instead......So far the only thing I used is superthrive with water....Id figure that the girls would be good for a while since ocean forest has nutes in it already.....and they seem to love it...

Thanks for the friendly words folks. I am now actually considering swapping to organic after the current supply runs out. I just wanted them to grow like crazy at first and spent a bunch of money on nutes. I guess I am a slave to big marketing. But I think I like the idea of a clean organic grow. I just wanted a semi-safe way to have my own supply at first. But, man, they truly are lovely plants and it has turned into the most rewarding hobby, well OK obsession, that I have ever had. I truly care about these plants, as I am sure you all do, and want to give them clean natural food. As I said before, they are ready to flower and will probably go in when I get back this Saturday. I am harvesting a bag seed plant I have when I get back that should give me room.
I have a Dr. Atomic Blueberry x Northern lights and an African Durban x skunk freebie not far behind in flower. The pics show 5 DSD's not yet sexed, although they are probably showing in veg since they have been vegging since I think Dec. 10th. I don't have my calendar with me. They are under a 250w MH.

Anyway, here they are:

I am in Europe now, so I only have very recent pics that my wife sent to keep me from losing my mind.

The first was taken about 2 weeks ago and the rest are from yesterday.
