Had a few questions for you guys. Leaving rubbermaid and CFL's for a tent and a 250w hps. Going to finish Bubblicious that are in veg and then throwing in Jock horror and NL autos (didnt realize i was going to be getting new set up).

!!!!!???????!!! The question i have is where and what can i set the ballast on im sure it gets hot!

I will throw up some pics later tonight after its set up. my girls are going to be very happy! thanks guys!

I always left my ballast on the floor, if your worried about burning the tent fabric or material, get something to raise it up off the floor, I'm sure even a towel will work, the ballast will not get hot enough to catch fire

Ok guys i have had the tent and 250w hps up for almost 2 weeks and wow love it. I had a little over 250w in cfl's with the hps my plants look so much healthier leaves are nice and dark green they are loving it!

I am using fox farms soil stuff is awesome big bloom, tiger bloom, bud candy and going to pick up something for root growth. Any recomendations?

One bubblicious of four was a little over half done in clf the other was 2 weeks behind and the last 2 are now 2 weeks into flowering. One of them was topped bird chewed top of before it was even an inch tall and she is looking good should get nice yield from her.

Last i started a NL auto. Here are a few pics enjoy and will keep you updated!

I would not use any flammable material to put my ballast on use an old mike crate or something metal. make sure you have air flow around it. They work better when cool.

Peace

Nice grow you've got going.

Why do you need root development? If you let the ground get nearly dry between waterings the roots should pretty much take care of themselves. From the way your plants look now, I'd say that the roots are doing their jobs nicely.

cynder block should be perfect. Keep it/them out of the room itself if you are having any heat probs.

Thanks guys. I think i will leave them they are sucking up the water drying out alot quicker than they were. roots must have taken off! thanks guys
